When it came to my six year old daughter hair days have always been a problem, and keeping hair clips in her hair the biggest problem of them all. Some hair clips that you buy in the shops these days do not keep her hair in place. By the end of a school day the clips are out and the growing hair all in her face.
Recently I discovered an adorable range of handmade hair clips from The Littles to review. I was so thrilled when the hair clips arrived. I received three clips, a lovely lacy bow tie, soft lilac polka dot bow tie and pink cashmerepom-pom type hair clip, with nickel-free parts. There are a variety of colours and made out of gorgeous materials like leather, pom-poms, Italian suede, French fabrics and alpaca wool. With its straightforward design they still burst with fun!
They’re extremely well made with a leather coating around the clip, preventing them from slipping and extra thread to protect everything. My daughter has even fallen asleep with the hair clip and it was survived the night and stayed in place.
The hair clips are all made by hand and much safer than most hair clips as they have been designed with little ones in mind, without beads or any hard trimmings and non-toxic material. Kirsten Yadouga-Schwinn has really outdone herself with the designing of these hair clips and still advises “that the clips still do have tiny parts and more advisable to wear for girls aged three and old 3 and older.” Fast reflexes must still to be used when you’re 1-2 year old wears it!
My daughter has worn all of them, they look fabulous and fashionable. They mix and match easily with her various outfits worn. The Littles has saved me from bad hair days with my daughter and the big sized hair clips helps with keeping her hair in place with no fuss and squirms. She enjoys wearing them making them fun to wear and my life easier. They are a bit pricier than your average hair clip bought in the shops, but are very unique in its kind. The Littles hair clips are highly recommended by me as an excellent buy for the comfort you need with your daughters hair days.
