Ivy Kids Monthly Children’s Subscription Kit Review

ivy kids subscription box

I had been writing reviews about different fun and educational toys and games in the past. I always said that my kids love it, which they do, a lot. And I always enjoyed playing it with them. I thought that we had tried almost all educational and fun games already but I was wrong. Recently, I received Ivy Kids Monthly Children’s Subscription Kit, it’s an Educational Subscription Box.

To my surprise! We all love it very much! As described in their webpage, the box is full of games that helps develop and stimulates our children’s math and science ability, improves literacy and self-confidence in dealing with different academic subjects and activities related to it. It really is. Even I myself had fun playing and helping my kids with it.

I got their January box, “The Snowy Day”.   The box content is a perfect timing for the season. It is snowing and my children definitely appreciate that they can also see what the box is telling them. Below is the list of what inside the box as I unpacked each of the plastic pack (which you can also see in my youtube video):

  1. Letter Instruction and acknowledgement
  2. Measuring cups for snow playing
  3. The book Snowy Day and Read along bookmark – there are questions that helps in the reading comprehension
  4. Water colors that can be used later for coloring the Snow Sculpture
  5. A bag of buttons and a pair of dice that will be used in playing and decorating the Snow Roll
  6. Snowflake Collage bag containing pom-poms, jewels, and glitters
  7. Snow Sculpture material bag containing the “model magic clay” which can be use to make different sculptures, ornaments and handprints or which ever your child want to make.
  8. A bag with Snowflake Fact and Super Snow Powder – using the powder you can make an instant snow while playing the board to learn facts about the snow.
  9. Snowball Fight Bag– containing board and pretend snowball the white pom-poms
  10. Winter Frame Bag – includes different materials in making frames. This is a test of our creativity in putting together a winter frame with our winter photo in it.
  11. Peter Snowy Day Bag – materials inside includes paper, sticker and chalk which we can use to draw Peter’s adventure. This is a test to your child’s ability to recall.
  12. Winter Word Bingo – here players can play the roulette wheel with letters on it and completing the word on the board game
  13. Snow Day Sequencing Card – your child can use this to retell the story
  14. Ginger Bread Ma Roll and Snowman Roll – another game using dice to fill in the number using the buttons.

These were the materials inside the box, though they were not packed according to how they will be played as described in their website but they definitely are fun games to play. Each activity was also packed in a zip bag with instructions on how it will be played. They even have instructions for different age category depending on who is playing the game. The segregations of the materials needed for each of the activity is also amazing. Unlike other games of box, this does not need any other materials. Everything is provided.

I highly recommend that you subscribed to Ivy Kids Kit. Each of the activity will stimulate the thinking and creative ability of your children. Every month you receive variety of box with different stories. My kids love and learned a lot from this.

  1. This sounds like an awesome subscription, games and learning all in one, and so many in one box too, this seems like one of the best subscription boxes I’ve seen in awhile!!
