SquareHue Beverly Hills Collection Box #Review

When the box arrived from SquareHue I was so excited! I don’t usually splurge on new colours but do love taking the time to paint my toenails in the summer and trying out a new colour on my fingers. The box was well sealed and safely packaged.

When I opened the box each square bottle was securely in place and had paper confetti over it. The packaging was so nicely done. There was a card telling that the colours were the August collection. Each month SquareHue subscribers receive a limited edition collection of 3 polishes. Subscribers never receive the same colour twice and they are full size bottles. The colours are beautiful and the bottles are designed for stability, the square shape allows them to fit easily on counters and in cupboards. With this service you get great colours delivered to your door and they are date stamped.

Squarehue curates their colours to keep their subscribers in style with the season. Each month has a personality to suit a variety of dress needs. The colours work for you for day or evening, casual or luxe. All the polishes in this collection had a nice squishy, easy-to-control consistency packed with metallic flecks. They’re well pigmented. I found that each colour went on nicely with two thin coats. To get a deeper colour from the shades some people may prefer three coats. The custom created colours go on nicely and have a nice finish. I got so many compliments on the colours!

The brushes in these polishes were nice, they are short and fairly narrow. For the ladies out there with small nail beds you will really enjoy these. As much as I love big wide brushes I like these smaller ones also, it makes it easy to be very precise with application. I think they are all very wearable colours. I’m a fan of the Square Hue polish formula, and I recommend this box if you’re looking for a subscription box that’s just quality nail polish!

SquareHue has a no hassle subscription and automatic monthly shipment. They allow you to suspend or pause your account as needed and you can choose when to join and when to cancel. It is easy. If you are in the United States, SquareHue is $19.99/month ($14.99 + $5 shipping), which breaks down to $6.67/polish. That is less than what you’d be paying at the store and this is a great way to buy polish since you know you aren’t buying a bottle some random person opened at the store and tested on their nails.

SquareHue gives back too. Automatically, a portion of your monthly subscription is donated to what really matters… other people. It’s simple, you get marvelous nail polish delivered to your door and they give to organizations dedicated to helping others. You get, Hue gives. Currently a portion of all monthly subscription proceeds are being donated for prevention awareness, the protection of trafficked victims and the prosecution of human traffickers.

I found that SquareHue has great quality, the colours lasted, dried quickly and had great shine. It is also a bonus that they use a clean formula which means it does not contain Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP, Camphor or Formaldehyde Resin and is not tested on animals.

  1. Great color collection! I agree fully about a small brush being nice for smaller nail beds – just gives a better finish 🙂
