The euphoria around Fortnite started at the moment when the game’s creators announced that this game is free to play and that everyone can join. It gained a massive fandom in no time. It seems to me that there is no person in my area who doesn’t know about this game. My kids (and husband) are Fortnite fans too.
The game itself is not complicated; even kids can play it (it’s not TOO violent). At least my kids are able to play it 24/7. That’s why I believe that they were so happy when a gift set of NERF FORTNITE products by Hasbro arrived at our address.
We got 6 types of blasters that will thrill every boy (sorry girls). All products are realistic models of equipment used in the game, which players collect through various missions. Be careful with the small parts. Don’t give these toys to kids under 3 – besides choking hazards, they can hurt with darts.
As soon as we opened the gift, the biggest toy got our attention – Fortnite AR-L Nerf Elite Dart Blaster.
This is one of the best replicas of weapons from the game. It comes with 20 official Nerf Fortnite Elite darts. The use of blaster is simple – you locate the target through the gunpoint and then pressing the button releases one of the 10 darts that are in the loaded clip.
Next one is blaster named NERF Fortnite Sp-L Elite Dart Blaster.
To the inept female eye, all blasters look the same. However, my kids explained this one is special because of that add-on (barrel) which can be put on and off, depending on how you want to play. The clip has the space for three darts. Be careful with the small parts. Don’t give these toys to little kids.
Hasbro thought of summer fun too, as the vacation is around the corner and water guns are a favorite summer fun for most kids. We got three different water blasters in the gift box. The largest in size is Hasbro’s NERF SuperSoaker Fortnite RL blaster.
Look like a real kid’s toy, but it’s ‘a killer’ with a strong water stream. The 275 milliliters reservoir is rapidly filled, so you’ll never be without the ‘ammunition.’
NERF Super Soaker Fortnite TS-R Water Blaster is slightly smaller but has a one-liter tank. Without the need to refill it often, the kids can enjoy long summer days splashing each other.
And the last one is the Super Soaker Fortnite HC-E water blaster. Compact and lightweight gun, you can carry it in one hand. With a tank of about 200 milliliters, you are ready to fight.
Talking about small packages, I mustn’t forget the Fortnite RL Nerf MicroShots Dart-Firing Toy Blasters, which we also got in the gift set. This gadget belongs to Fortnite collectibles. These are, in fact, the mini versions of the weapon used in the game. Each comes with two darts, so you’ll always have your pocket-weapon ready.
As a mom, I’m not thrilled with blasters and ‘pew pew’ sounds. But my kids enjoy playing Fortnite, and I’d rather have them outside than in front of the computer.
It appears to be such a fun summer activity.
