Ever since the slime trend started a couple of years ago, our poor house has seen some colorfully messy situations. You have multiple colors and textures to choose from when it comes to slimes, but the newest trend is Unicorn Slime! Mythical Slyme has Unicorn-themed slimes with funny names of bodily-functions, like tears, poop, snot, boogers, because everyone loves Unicorns and children find those words funny (they kind of are).
When we decided to unbox the delivery, my children were already excited to play and ran off to wash their hands. We received four Mythical Slymes from their Mythical Slyme Line, Unicorn Tears, Unicorn Poop, Unicorn Boogers and Unicorn Blood. We immediately loved the grey tin packaging with colorful Unicorn designs on the front. It kind of looks like something you would carry fairy dust in. Whats inside was even prettier than the outside.
- Unicorn Poop
My daughter wanted to play with the Unicorn Poop Slyme first (that is a sentence I’d never thought I’d say). The slime comes in an airtight plastic bag for you to take the slime out of. The tin is also tightly closed for you to keep your slime all nice and soft for a long time. Unicorn Poop Slyme is a beautiful, vibrant pink color with very fine white glitter in it. Very shiny and super stretchable to play with. The pink color didn’t leave as much residue as I had thought it would and the clean-up was super simple, my girl did it on her own.
- Unicorn Tears
‘’If my tears looked like this, I would want to cry all the time’’ said my daughter when she saw how cool this Unicorn Tears Slyme is. The clear slime has confetti-like small colorful sparkles. I was expecting the transparency to get dirtier a lot faster than it did and a while after she put it back in the tin, it recovered and went back to being transparent. Even when we stretched it out further than we ever could with other slimes, the putty didn’t break and looked like a soap bubble with confetti trapped in it.
- Unicorn Boogers
Such a gross name for such a beautiful looking product. This slime is golden colored with sparkles in them. The feeling of it is soft but manageable, and the shiny, glossy finish makes it feel like you’re holding liquid gold. Perfect for kids to play with but also a great desk item for working adults who want to stop fidgeting or getting distracted. Perfectly chic looking and incredibly fun.
- Unicorn Blood
The Unicorn Blood is apparently willingly donated by the Unicorns so there is nothing to worry about. This Mythical Slyme looks hauntingly gorgeous. The color of the slime changes from green to dark grey to golden hues while you play with it. Something this magical could only run through the veins of the best Mythical creatures, Unicorns! There was a little residue after a long play session, but it was wiped off quickly, therefore, left no damage.
I am thankful to have such entertaining things to play with around the house that I can also enjoy. My kids can sit down at the table and play with the gooey, sticky putty for hours. Playing with slime helps the development of fine motor skills, focus and hand-eye coordination and helps with stress and anxiety levels of kids. With all the benefits, fun quirky names and a great deal of fun, Mythical Slyme Unicorn Slymes will be a household favorite for a while.
