My Take on the Aleva Naturals Line

As a mother to a bouncing baby boy, I need to tell you right now that nothing is more important to me than his well-being and this means giving him the best food and using only the best products I can get my hands on. After countless trials with so-called “natural” and “organic” products and being perpetually disappointed, I ran across Aleva products and I have to tell, once I tried them, there was no going back for me. Aleva Naturals is a skincare line for maternity and baby use. This line of plant-based products was developed by a naturopath, an herbalist, and a pharmacist and is also proudly made in Canada.

The first product I tried from their baby like is the Aleva Calendula+ Nature’s Skin Remedy which boasts of a unique and non-greasy feel. It’s made of pure calendula, Organic Aloe extracts and Shea butter which worked amazingly well on my baby’s rashes. Try as I might to prevent these rashes, it seems it is just part of having a baby and having this Skin Remedy cream makes things a whole lot easier for me to handle. This cream isn’t only great for getting rid rashes but it also works well for scrapes, sun burns, and a host of other skin problems babies and kids may encounter. As powerful as it is, it’s actually gentle enough to be used on the face. You have no idea how much easier it is for me to have this cream handy. In fact, I use it every day as my son has a dry patch on his bum.

The next product I had the pleasure of trying out was the Aleva Naturals Newborn Trial Pack which contains the Sleep Easy Baby Wash, the Daily Soothing Moisturizer, and the Berry Bubble Bath all in 60ml sizes. I also got the Bamboo Baby Wipes (30’). All the products are of astounding quality and yet I have to say my favorite has to be the Sleep Easy Baby Wash. I find it to be really effective and yet gentle on my baby’s skin.

This whole line of products claims to be natural and gentle and I have found the claims to be true. At no time did I notice any irritations on my baby’s skin nor did I see any tears when we used the bubble bath. Babies may not be able to walk around or anything but they sure do get slippery when wet and bubbles go everywhere, including the eyes which may make them sting. No such problems occur when I use this for my baby’s baths.

Mothers everywhere, I cannot stress enough how important it is to be very picky about what you put on your baby’s skin. These days, you cannot trust every little tube and jar that says “natural” or “organic” as they may still contain some trace petrochemicals which you do not want anywhere near your kids’ skins. The Aleva Naturals line delivers on all of its promises to be safe, gentle, and effective. Give them a try and you are sure to love them as much as I do.
