Mother Hen Organic Baby Food Giveaway

These days baby feeding is all about variety and nutrition. Mother Hen helps me when it comes to that. Mother Hen is a Canadian, family owned, baby food manufacturer that stresses originality with their homemade recipes. Their products are organic, all natural, contain no additives and are allergen free. They come frozen (which is great) so they will last and I don’t have to worry about wasting any food.

Mother Hen Beginner's

Mother Hen Junior

Their baby food comes in Beginner (less than 8 months) or Junior (8 months and up). For beginners all of the food is a smooth puree to help your baby focus on taste. Mother Hen has organic fruits, veggies and meats for baby. I love feeding this to my little guy because I know that he is getting quality flavor with safe all-natural ingredients.

Beginner’s fruits include apples, pears, peaches, and mangoes. There are also two mixes of apples with prunes and a Sunny Fruit Sauce. Mother Hen’s Sunny Fruit Sauce is a mix of bananas, mangoes, pineapple and water. My son loves peach flavor.

Sunny fruit compote

Beginner’s veggies include carrots, butternut squash, sweet potatoes, zucchini, and broccoli. There is also a California mixed veggie puree that is made of broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and water.

Beginner’s meats come strained in lamb, chicken, turkey, veal, beef and pork. Each BPA free container can be heated up with a double broiler or in the microwave. My son loves the strained beef and chicken. These are a great way to get protein in his diet and he loves to eat it.

Once your baby has discovered and tasted all of the delicious beginner’s flavors, they can move up to the Junior’s meals. There are nine different meals:

• Chicken in the pot (70% organic) made with chicken, carrots, potatoes, chickpeas, onions, water, celery and herbs

• Beef Parmentier (72% organic) made with beef, carrots, potatoes, green peas, chickpeas, water and onions

• Veal ragout (72% bio) made with veal, carrots, potatoes, chickpeas, mushrooms, onions, water, celery, olive oil, rice flour and herbs

• Parisian turkey with vegetables and rice (70% organic) made with turkey, broccoli, carrots, chickpeas, water, rice, onions, rice flour, olive oil and herbs

• Pork & leeks (72% organic) made with pork, apples, carrots, chickpeas, potatoes, rice, water and leeks

• Lamb with fruits (70% organic) made with lamb, mangoes, pears, apples, chickpeas, water, rice and onions

• Chicken Cacciatore (72% organic) made with chicken, tomatoes, carrots, chickpeas, potatoes, rice, onions, red pepper, celery, water and herbs

• Pasta with sauce Bolognese (72% organic) made with beef, tomatoes, carrots, chickpeas, pasta, water, onions, red pepper, celery, herbs and olive oil

• Veal n’ Buckwheat (72% organic) made with veal, carrots, turnip, chickpeas, water, potatoes, buckwheat, onions and herbs

Once my son is ready, I’m sure he’ll fall in love with all of the Junior’s meals as well.

  4. I would love to win this for my toddler. He would love the food. I love the healthy vibe, the fact that they are peanut free. Real healthy food for when I don’t have the ability to prepare homemade meals. Thank you for the chance.
