KRE-O STAR TREK U.S.S. Enterprise Construction Set

Since I do not have children old enough for KRE-O STAR TREK U.S.S. Enterprise Construction Set, I gave it  to my nephew who is 9 years old and he loved it. This toy offers a build your own Star Trek adventures! You can use the 432 pieces to build a U.S.S. Enterprise ship that your 5 Kreon figures can zoom around in. This incredible set comes with Light-tech technology, so the deflector dish and engines glow for amazing Star Trek action! The Star Trek figures are great, you get Kirk, Spock, McCoy, and 2 Starfleet dudes, who are all featured in the new Star Trek movie just released.

My nephew liked it that they have holes in the back of their legs so that he can attach them to the chairs on the bridge. This was great for him to express himself and build boldly with the U.S.S. Enterprise construction set! Some other small details that are cool are the dish top comes off and you have a cool bridge with seats for all the characters (including a Captain’s chair), a screen with a display of space that goes up and down. This set includes 432 pieces, 5 Kreon figures and instructions which are all great for a child of a bit older age to have tons of fun with.

I found that this toy was a great way for my nephew to express his own building ideas while having fun and learning new ways to build a ship. He really enjoyed pretending to fly his very own ship around the house and yard after he built it. I was amazed at how much the ship looks like the one in the new Star Trek movie. This toy is a great way to build imagination in a child. I have also found that this is a fun way for a child to learn how to build things and expand his imagination to new levels. It is easy to grasp the model with the entire lower section as one piece. This made it friendlier to my 9 year old nephew than other similar block models that don’t withstand any play at all. I really liked the case style box it came in and that all the parts are separated into bags inside the box. Each Kreon character is separated and the larger parts of the ship are not bagged. This made it really easy to find everything and even simpler for my nephew to sort things out and build them as he went along playing.

The best thing about this KRE-O STAR TREK U.S.S. Enterprise Construction Set is that it is compatible with 8 other KRE-O STAR TREK U.S.S. Enterprise Construction Sets just like from the new movie, so that I can buy more to go along with this one for my nephew to play with all together. The KRE-O STAR TREK stop motion digital short was also really awesome. I had to show it to my nephew! He really enjoyed it and it just gave him more of an idea of how he could play with the toy. In the eyes of a child this video made the toy a lot cooler. I think every kid who has this toy should watch this video clip. Overall this is a really good toy for a child around the age of 9.
