CANADA — A packaging defect that could spoil Heinz baby food has triggered a recall of six brands, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency says.

Heinz Canada is voluntarily recalling its peas, zucchini and spinach pouches, its sweet baby vegetables, its beef bolognese with vegetables, its beef butternut squash rice spinach, its tuna sweet corn chowder, and its butternut squash apricot peas couscous.

All are packaged in 128 millilitre pouches. The CFIA says there have been no reports of illness from the products but warns consumers to throw away any pouches of the affected baby food because of the risk of spoilage.
