Gurin Steam Inhaler – Best Suited for Nasal Congestion #SteamInhaler

Steam Inhaler

Steam inhalers are very important for people with respiratory issues. Especially for cold, allergies and sinusitis, a steam inhaler can be your personal doctor. The Gurin Steam Inhaler is mask style attachment with a water heating chamber. For a person like me who usually catch cold during the winters, this one would be ideal. Especially for the nasal congestion and sinusitis this best suits for me and kids.

The mask is soft and flexible with an extension tube, water chamber and drain tank. There is a convenient indicator light which shows the adjusted pattern. It has a 5” power cord which is really generous enough for us. There is a reservoir cup split in to 2 sections, the right side is for aromatherapy where you put the saline solution.

You can start by filling the inhaler with tap water. When it is activated, the water in chamber is heated. This produces a good stream of warm and hydrated vapor. I hovered about an inch above the mash without putting my face directly against the steam. There is sliding piece on top of the neck to vary the steam adjustment so that it can be altered for different purposes. I had to insert the plastic tube in to the liquid and the cup to be placed in the machine. This directly injects to the steam. Still, without an adjustment in the flow. The other side of the cup is a holding tank for condensing steam. The condensing steam is collected in this cup. The whole process made me feel better.

It is completely natural and also safe therapy that relieves cold and flu symptoms. And since this is simple product with mild effects, kids can also use it. My toddler is usually prone to flu and now I do not have to run to the doctor’s every time.

Not just for the cold symptoms but it is even ideal for aromatherapy and stuff. The best part is about the thermo switch which automatically turns off when the water runs dry when the unit is still operating. Still I would not allow it to run till then as I fear that the product might lose its quality. Even the manual suggests about switching off the unit after 6-8 minutes of treatment. And by the way, when kids are at home it is really not good to leave the unit operating unattended.

I also do not think it is a good idea to clean the product in the dishwasher. It is simply unsafe to do that, so instead you can hand wash it, which is simple to do.

If you have problems like sinus, chest and nasal congestion then it is a right decision to get this inhaler. It is reasonably priced and you can use it any time to relieve any respiratory issues.

  1. Thanks for a good review … Just a quick question – can I use salted water to get a warm salted mist inhalation with this product? Can I pour a cup of boiling water mixed with salt into it? Generally speaking – is there anything you recommendations for warm salted water steam inhaler you can make ? Thanks in advance.
