If your child has a gaming system, you already know that there are a plethora of video games out there. Fantasy, music, role-playing, you name it, there’s a game for it. But I can guarantee that you’ve never seen a game quite like inviZimals for PSP. This game takes interactive to a whole new level, turning your child’s world into an real life video game.

The inviZimals PSP Entertainment Pack comes with everything you need to play this awesome new game. It includes the PSP-3000 system in a brilliant blue. The new PSP has all kinds of features, including Wi-Fi for accessing online games and programs, a microphone and a great-quality LCD screen. Included in the Entertainment Pack is a camera, which you need to play inviZimals, a 1 GB memory stick and a Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs disc, which you can watch directly on the PSP.

inviZimals is a whole new way of gaming. After attaching the camera to the PSP, the gamer travels around their house, yard or a nearby park, looking at the screen. Imaginary creatures will appear on the screen, and the player has to capture them, by yelling into the microphone, slapping them or shooting them. Then, after the creature is captured, they can be battled against other monsters, or evolved to create a better monster.

This game was truly amazing to see. The camera accurately captured my surroundings, and the monsters looked very real. The built in microphone and sensors can detect if you’ve “attacked” the monsters and captured them, and then you get to keep the monster. The interactive component is very fun too: you can battle your monsters against friends’ monsters via the Internet connection.

I was also very impressed by the new PSP 3000. The color was very attractive, and the graphics were superb quality, especially for such a compact player. The Wi-Fi capability opens up a whole world of possibilities, including surfing the web and listening to Internet radio. With the microphone, you can chat with fellow gamers over the Internet, or even make calls using Skype. The PSP Entertainment Pack opens up a whole new world of gaming.

The included inviZimals games is a blast for kids of all ages, and never gets old because of its use of the player’s surrounding environment.
