You know what’s most interesting to kids? COLORS. They get enthralled with splash of colors, they stop and stare, they were itching to know whatever it is that looks as wonderful, and it’s the best factor to focus on when you need to capture their attention and keep them interested. Their attention is fixated at colorful things.

And the magnificent Play-Doh Sesame Street Color Mixer Playset is the latest that my kiddo have that is truly worth recommending for the play with colors it allows. It is the best toy if you are geared to the improvement of your kid with color recognition, color mixing, molding and open-ended play! Toddlers learn to know which are the basic colors blue, red, yellow and the likes with the help of the very cute Sesame characters. And with mixing colors they can come up with a whole new color that both amazes and teaches them the wonders of colors. It’s fun and exciting to see yellow and red combined turns orange. And after which they get to match the outcome to the playmat for the right shape.

Color Mixer playset comes with playmat, plastic scoop, instructions and 3 three-ounce cans of PLAY-DOH Brand Modeling Compound. Play-doh is safe and non-toxic though it contains wheat that should be avoided by children with allergies to it. Good thing my child need not concern herself with it. She loves it too much to be separated from it.

This toy is best for children 3 and up but I still can’t resist playing with it myself. I enjoyed playing with it with my little one. And the wonder in the eyes of my angel made me appreciate it more. She not only is aware of the different colors now but also have developed her motor skills especially the control of her hands. Even her imagination runs wild and she tells stories as to what will be done with the different shapes formed with her navigation.

And it’s not just me. Most mommies in the daycare were sharing the same positive effect of the famous toy to their kiddo. We are one with our appreciation that the children stay longer time playing alone now and leaving us to our chores. It works both for me and my kid, and it is commendable. Try it yourself and agree with me that Hasbro has yet again outdid themselves with this popular educational toy.
