I must confess that when it comes to cleaning anything, I always thought that no one else does the job better than I do. Back when I was just a mother of one, I could still somehow manage to take the time and energy in making our house totally squeaky clean. But now that I have two super energetic kids, I eventually learned to let some things go and take things one at a time so I can balance my time and energy in the family. I can at least manage to clean off all the visible dirt in the house, and let things slide a bit when it comes to dealing with all the hidden dirty surfaces despite my inner inkling to really want to make them fade away all the time. I wish I wasn’t too obsessed about it but I can’t help it!
So when I finally had a microfiber mop, I realized how amazing it is as it really leaves nothing behind, which is exactly how I want cleaning to be. Only, this alone made it so much easier than how I used to do it with an inconvenient combination of an ordinary mop, plus a sweep, and a rag. I’ve been saving a lot of time lately with my O’Cedar ProMist Microfiber Spray Mop because of its many wonderful features that I never imagined a single cleaning item could do.
Firstly, I really have to rave about the microfiber material. I actually use microfiber towels for my kids because they’re so soft and smooth on the skin, and it really does do job in absorbing the wetness from my kids’ newly bathed skin so they get dried and changed quickly. And our cloth diaper inserts are made of super soft and absorbent microfiber too! So I thought microfiber was too precious to be used for cleaning, but the O-Cedar microfiber mop actually made my cleaning a luxurious experience! With the mop’s millions of microscopic fibers, it’s magnetic enough to grab all the lightweight dust, hair (mostly mine, I’m guilty!), dirt, moisture, and other little nasty particles like food crumbs (courtesy of my messy babies!).
To be honest, the microfiber is enough for me, but the O-Cedar ProMist still has a lot more useful features: the mop has additional microfiber scrub zones which work against tougher dirt and grime, so it’s like a mop and floor scrub in one!
And because it’s called ProMist, it comes with a wide-mouth refillable bottle where I can fill my favorite liquid cleaner or any homemade cleaning solution (like the classic vinegar and water combo), plus a one-touch bottle release that makes it super easy for me to refill.
The mop’s head can swivel at 360 degrees so it’s a breeze to maneuver.
The handle is ergonomically designed to make the mop easy to grip, and it also has an easy-squeeze trigger in the handle where I can comfortably spray the liquid solution.
I used to really bend down and sometimes go on all fours as I scrub off nasty dirt with my hands and an ordinary cloth or rag. But with the O-Cedar ProMist, I can do everything at once just by mopping away because the scrub zones are already doing the job for me. And there’s no need for me to repetitively lift and drag it like how I would with an ordinary mop because the ProMist just glides beautifully while it cleans perfectly. Plus, I no longer have trouble with too much dust particles that fly and scatter around with my cleaning action. I can tell because I no longer sneeze in reaction to the dust that would supposedly float in the air.
I really love that I can use the O-Cedar ProMist as both a wet and dry cleaner. In case of massive spills mixed with some other forms of dirt, I would prefer wiping away all the excess liquid with an old newspaper so my mop would be able to completely handle all the remaining dirt. And I especially love that the O-Cedar ProMist is eco-friendly because it can be used with microfiber pad refills, and it’s machine washable too.
We recommend using no more than 2 teaspoons of your preferred cleaning solution with the ProMist® Spray Mop. For best results, pour water into the bottle first, and then add 2 teaspoons of cleaning solution. Do not use bleach or wax based products and do not store any unused fluid in the bottle in between each use. The microfiber pad is hand or machine washable up to 100 times in warm water. Do not use bleach or fabric softener when laundering. (This makes the microfiber less effective). Lay flat to dry.
