I had no idea it was possible for cotton to be so supple.
While its incredible softness was the number one stand out feature, there were others that also caught my eye. My second favorite feature of this blanket? The hood. During the chillier months, I was always given (well-intentioned) grief from both mother and mother-in-law that my babies were cold whenever I would step outside for a moment. It was never long enough to take the time to add layers to their clothing, but the blankets I had could never quite protect their head without partially covering their faces. This blanket? It is essentially the solution to that problem—a few years too late for me.
And while it isn’t heavy, you can tell that this blanket is warm. The blanket is composed of two different organic cotton layers, making it quite easy to hold in heat. At the same time, the fabric remains cool to the touch, so I cannot imagine a little one overheating in it.
Sadly, my little ones are quickly becoming not so little and this blanket arrived a bit late for me to use. My daughter, however, is happily putting it to use on her favorite baby dolls. As for me?
