Like me, I am sure many parents out there have had it with drinking cups that promises to be spill proof only in the end to find after a day out with the little ones that it caused a leaky mess in the children’s bag. Therefore, when I received the Tommee Tippee Explora Insulated Spill Proof Drinking and Straw cups to review, I had my doubts at their promise of a truly spill proof drinking/straw cup.

My two little ones love these cups with its cute designs mainly because it allows them to have a drink in the car when we are out and about for the day, something I never allowed them with their previous drinking cups as it used to cause a big mess. Not only am I impressed with the no spillage of the drinking cups, but also each cup offers insulation, which keep drinks cooler for longer. The cups can also retain heat, but Tommee Tippee advises that you pour already warm liquid into the cups instead of warming the liquid in the cups inside a microwave, as the cups are not suitable for warming liquids in.
Another feature that impressed me of these cups is that the lids are interchangeable, which means I can swap the Straw cup’s lid with the Drinking cup’s lid, that helps a lot to solve little fights between the little ones about who wants which design. The Tommee Tippee Explora Insulated Spill Proof Drinking/Straw cups are also easy to clean, as it offers a variety of ways that you can go about doing it – one of my favourites being the dishwasher. You can even sterilize the cups, which offers the parents some extra peace of mind cause we all want to keep our little ones safe.
The only true downside I see to these cups is smaller pieces, which can be easily misplaced – especially the valves. Tommee Tippee however, also foresaw that problem, as they also sell extra valves for those cases of misplaced valves. Therefore, I will recommend these products and advise parents to have a look at other products in this range as they offer quality products that functions as promised and your little ones will definitely love the cute animal designs.
