Three Bags Full Finger Puppet Pouches are so fun! We want to own all six sets! Each set consists of a handcrafted pouch with a hand painted scene on it and eight little handcrafted, colorful animal creatures inside! You can choose from six different themes, consisting of Arctic, Farm, Garden, Jungle, Ocean, and Woods. The pouch , with its hand painted scene, acts as a backdrop for any “show”, as the animals are easily attached to the pouch by a simple little snap. They are absolutely beautiful!

Every bag of puppets comes with an accompanying book list with suggested stories to use with your pouch. After receiving a pouch with farm theme for review, we actually plan on acquiring all of them…eventually. We have checked out some of the suggested story books from our local library, and after reading them, and acting the story out with the puppets just a few times over, I have actually caught my 23 month old daughter playing out the storyline with the puppets, all on her own–without me even reading! Three Bags Full Finger Puppets claim to be appropriate for ages 3 and up, but with proper supervision, my daughter and I both take great delight in these puppets! Sometimes I wonder who’s enjoying them more–me or my daughter?

These finger puppets are extraordinary little tools for use in any early education setting. When reading a story and acting it out with the finger puppets, my daughter’s attention span is tenfold. She hangs upon my every word and enjoys the interaction that the puppets inspire. She also absolutely LOVES using them while we sing songs! Her favorite is the farm set. She places the puppets across her little fingers and acts out the animal sounds while I sing “Old MacDonald”.

These delightful little sets are handcrafted and produced in Bolivia, by indigenous women who are preserving their cultural identity through the crafting of these traditional items that are reflective of their native cultures. The goods that these women generate are operated by a group of Bolivian Artisans called Ayni Bolivia, which prides itself on assisting women to acquire more self confidence and esteem by teaching them these handicraft skills, which in turn allows them to provide for their families needs.
