As a mother of a four year old daughter, I am always looking for interactive and educational toys which really engage my daughter and at the same time she is learning something out of it. She loves playing with dolls and doll houses. My daughter received 2 pieces of interactive toys from WOW Toys.
The first one is the Flora’s play garden. This is like a small garden set with all essentials of a real garden. You have two figures which is the girl called Flora and her friend Florence, who is a princess. The set has a lovely waterfall pool with stepping stones in it. You actually enter the garden through a small garden gate which swings the figures inside. What I found the most joyful was a small flower umbrella which when rotating grows a smaller flower lift! My daughter just loves it because she loves anything with flowers in it. Now she can play with her two new friends Flora and Florence as they have a nice balcony tea party.
Another is the Jess ’n’ Jake’s playground! My daughter loves swings and she loves going to parks for them. This is like a mini interactive play ground where two friends Jess and Jake play gleefully. They have a nice rocking see-saw, spinning round-a-bout and a flip side which they can play with. It’s easy to handle, as all my daughter has to do is push button to flip and make Jess and Jake go down the slide or spin the round-a-bout real fast till they go dizzy.
I am absolutely in love with both the games. They are nicely, vividly colored with almost realistic sets. Moreover they have great developmental benefits for my daughter. Since she is four years old, such games really promote her role play and exploration skills. She spends hours talking to herself as she sits in one corner of the house playing with the figures. I can see she makes up stories in her mind about the character that she is playing with and that really polishes her creative skills. Her being the only sibling right now and the next one on its way, I believe such interactive and haptic games are a really company for our kids. Both of the games is suitable for kids of ages 1½ years to 5 Years. For kids as old as 1½ years, they develop their motor skills and polish upon their sensory stimulation. For kids of ages 2 years, they promote interest in discovery and learning from the activities that they perform. As far as kids of ages 3 years and above are considered, they learn the concept of social interaction in their daily lives and begin to observe it more strongly! This over all is a win-win situation, no matter how old your child is.
