What other enjoyable way would it be for kids and adults alike to enjoy learning? Through play, of course! Learning through safe play totally makes it okay for errors, mistakes and awkward situations to happen (adults, I know you agree!). There should be no rules when it comes to how kids explore new things. Let them play the xylophone upside down. Let them put doll’s shoes in their teapots. I personally believe that music makes learning easier, more fun and effective. That’s why this Zoo Jamz Microphone is my personal favorite. Aside from the obvious feature that it can amplify your toddler’s voice, he can sing along to its built-in tunes too, and add cool sound effects. There are also buttons for each of six musical instruments and their corresponding sounds, and they can be played note by note. My favorite part is the adjustable tempo for the tunes, because it made my kids laugh so hard to sing the same tune from slow to fast, simply by turning the mic’s disc.
VTech Baby Amaze 3-in-1 Care & Learn Stroller: nurture a child’s emotional intelligence
So obviously, the Baby Amaze is my daughter’s favorite. This is actually recommended for kids aged 2 to 5, but my big girl really enjoyed this one. She played with it in a more grown-up way though, so good for her! I really find this to be the most surprising toy because the doll not only sings about basic concepts like ABC, colors, animals and places whenever the stroller’s motion sensor detects its own rolling movement, but it teaches awesome concepts about baby care and nutrition too. The stroller can transform into a high chair, and the tray has an embedded toy book with pages about healthy food! And when you transform the stroller into a bassinet, there are lots of lullabies to play. And it also has a music mode where your toddler can play freely. Really loads of educational and musical features on this baby doll and stroller!
