For years VTech has been manufacturing toys that make education fun for all ages. The Go! Go! Smart Wheels Treasure Mountain Train Adventure by VTech is a top favorite for my son. It is recommended for ages 1-5 years, perfect for my little guy’s age group and creativity level.
The playset comes with a motorized train that moves along the colorful tracks all by itself, not deterred by the hills and tunnels it encounters along the way. The train play set features nine Smartpoint spots placed throughout the tracks. When the little freight train rolls over these spots, it reacts to them with different phrases and fun music. The Go! Go! Smart Wheels Treasure Mountain Adventure by VTech also has a gold mine with gears that shift, and a moveable crane with which my son can pick up the several pieces of different shapes. He pretends that he is mining for gold in the mine shaft. The little freight train itself features a button that lights up when he presses it, and, as he pushes the button, the train plays three songs he can sing along with. This particular component of the train also teaches him the name of the train and the letter “F”. All this toy needs are three AAA batteries to operate and it provides my little one with a fun, educational, and safe play time. His active imagination easily tunes in to the lights and the bright colors of this play set as it takes him on new adventures around the tracks.
