VeggieTales has always provided warm, funny, and enchanting stories for kids. My daughter adores all of the characters adventures and has started to learn about little life lessons through the performance. We received the just released VeggieTales Robin Good and His Not-So-Merry-Men DVD for review.

About the show:
Robin Good has a mission – fundraising from the rich and giving to the poor! But when a greedy Prince starts stealing the townspeople’s hams, donations are down and Robin’s band of friends desert him to give robbing a try. Can Robin overcome his hurt, show his friends what’s right and restore the townspeople’s hope? In the story, Robin learns that “there’s no hurt too big for God!” This guide for kids offers 3 ways that they, like Robin, can handle those times when they might feel hurt.

Robin Good taps into the best side of a child’s personality with its fun little adventures; meanwhile it also shows being good and giving makes you a better person. Robin must learn to overcome the hurt he feels because of losing the money he raised and the betrayal of his once good friends, a lesson many children will face as they grow older and make new friends. The movie itself sends a positive meaning and continues to keep a fruitful assortment of interesting themes to keep it running smoothly.
