2010 Holiday Gift Guide – Umi Children’s Shoes Review And Giveaway

This time of year, those once super new fall shoes you bought for your son or daughter are probably starting to get a little scuffed up. It’s getting cold outside, and you’re probably thinking about buying a new pair of shoes to get them through the days when snow boots aren’t a necessity. But before you head out to your local kids store for the same old selection, you should check out the wide range of options online. When you do, I highly recommend you start with one of my favorite kids’ shoe boutiques, Umi.
Umi’s business motto pretty much sums up what I love about them: “A little love for little feet”. Umi’s shoes for children are the highest quality kids’ shoes on the market. They use super soft leather, and only use non-toxic dyes. Their products have thick soles for extra durability, and are super safe and supportive for growing feet. They also have wide foot holes and are easy for little ones to put on and take off by themselves. All this, plus great style and design, makes for a shoe both you and your child won’t be able to resist.
One of their adorable girl shoes is the June Bug. The June Bug is a stylish ankle boot for any budding fashionista. It has lots of great details, like a little pink scallop trip and several cute pink and white flowers. The rich chocolate brown makes this boot look and feel luxurious. On the practical side, it also has a heavy duty rubber sole and good traction built in.
I was so lucky to try out Umi’s new styles. I chose a pair of the June Bug ankle boots for my daughter to test drive. My daughter liked the flowers, and their boot-like creation made her feel “like a new Dora”. After getting a chance to watch her wear them around for a while, I was super impressed with their high quality. They didn’t show scuffs or dirt, and their soles didn’t show any signs of wearing away. These are definitely shoes that will last as long as your child’s feet will fit them, if not longer.
