Tonka TINYS are the line of miniature toys made by Tonka for children who have a love for vehicles. With construction vehicles like cement trucks and quarry dumpers, the line features all types of miniature vehicles that give any child a chance to have a great time using their imagination with practically any vehicle that exists. Having some of the Tonka TINYS in my household has been great for my son. The trucks and play sets that are made by Tonka keep my son busy for hours on end because what young boy doesn’t love trucks and cars!
The majority of the line consists of construction vehicles like dump trucks, bulldozers, tow trucks and backhoes. However, Tonka added a variety of other vehicles to the line so children can have everything to complete the perfect collection of Tonka TINYS. There are fire trucks, police cars, airplanes and two play sets that act as construction sites.
The Tonka TINYS Car Crush Escape Playset has a working crane, a catapult and a car crusher. Each part of it is fully functioning allowing for the imagination to run wild. Also included is an exclusive Tonka TINYS car that works with any play set in the collection. The Car Crush Escape Playset is a great addition to any child’s toy collection because any vehicle from the TINYS collection can be played with, within it. It also gives the child an actual physical site for their cars to go in and out of while playing. All play sets that are made in the TINYS collection expand and can connect to make one big world for Tonka TINYS.
Tonka TINYS Blast and Dash Quarry Playset has a slide, a toppling tower and a working detonator. The Blast and Dash Quarry Playset allows for many different exciting activities for the TINYS vehicles to take part in. Like the Crush Escape Playset, it is perfect for children ages 5 and up. This play set is perfect for any child who can spend hours playing with their trucks like my son can! He spends hours with both of his play sets connected running his trucks up and down the slides.
The Tonka TINYS collection has a wide range of all vehicles, which as a parent I can appreciate because it gives children like my son an opportunity to learn about all kinds of vehicles from airplanes to law enforcement vehicles. It’s fun being a parent and being able to watch my son learn about what vehicles are used to protect us each day as well as what vehicles are used to build places like his school and the grocery stores we go to.
The majority of the Tonka TINYS collections are available at toy retailers like Target and Toys R Us. Because there are so many vehicles offered in the Tonka TINYS line it can be difficult to decide which one to get especially if you’re like my kids who want every toy that they lay eyes on! Thankfully the miniature toys aren’t too pricy and as they say, they are built to last!
