More to Do While I’m Two is a book for two year olds and their parents. It gives lots of ideas of things for parents and caregivers to do with their child, and also offers an explanation of why that particular activity helps brain development. For instance, it suggests reading your toddler his or her favorite stories over and over again, and then explains how repetition helps create stronger connections in the brain.

Play With Me While I am Three is a similar book, only for three year olds. It offers ideas of activities for children that are a little older, and again, are especially tailored to their brain development stage. For instance, it suggests playing outside and exploring, and explains how new experiences help three year olds learn new information.

Both of these books are easy and fun to use. They come with forty different activity suggestions that are perfect for when your toddler is bored or you’ve run out of ideas. The activities come bound on a ring, so they’re easy to pack and use on the go. Just flip through them and find one that fits wherever you are or what you’re doing.

My daughter and I really enjoyed these books. I used both of them with her, even though she’s two, and she really enjoyed them both. Some days, I would just be tired or just plain worn out, and I couldn’t come up with any ideas for fun things to do. But these books were the perfect resource. They had a variety of suggestions: some more active, some more quiet, some indoors and some outdoors. Plus, my daughter was building her brain without even knowing it! She had a blast, and I enjoyed reading the backs of cards for explanations of the concepts behind the activity. The brain development tips even gave me some ideas of other things to do with her.

Any stay at home parent can appreciate that sometimes you need fresh ideas of what to do, and these books are perfect for that. They’re easy to hang on a hook or put in a purse or diaper bag, and they always answer the question of “What are we going to do today?”

We all know that harsh chemicals are bad, especially for our kids, but it can be hard to find good-smelling soaps that don’t use them. Until now! The Green Beaver company is a family-owned, certified organic business that sells personal care products without any synthetic fragrances, dyes or colors. Their products are fun to use, and it’s a company you can feel good about supporting.

Their kids’ product line, Green Beaver Jr. for Kids, has lots of products that you and your whole family will enjoy, including Conditioning Detangler, Foaming Body Wash, Bubble Bath, Foaming Hand Soap and Gentle Shampoo. All of the products are made with all-natural ingredients like raspberry and carrot oil to protect and nourish skin and hair.

 

The Conditioning Detangler came in a handy spray bottle and was an ease to use. It quickly detangled hair, and it made combing hair after bath time a breeze. My daughter didn’t complain once the whole time we were combing her hair, which was pretty amazing. This spray definitely made my life easier.

 

The Foaming Body Wash and Hand Soap were fun for everyone in the family. In the bathtub, my daughter loved washing her own arms and legs, and she enjoyed the smell and easy to use bottle. Plus, it made it a snap to see if she had any soap left on her before she got out of the tub. We all enjoyed the Foaming Hand Soap because it left our hands soft and smelling good. I didn’t have to remind my daughter to wash her hands anymore, because she was so excited to do it herself with this soap.

 

The Bubble Bath was almost too good, because I had a really hard time getting my girl out of the tub at the end of her bath. She loved how ‘‘bubbly’’ it was (her words, not mine) and she got a kick out of drawing fake mustaches and beards on herself with the foam. This one is definitely going to be a repeat at our house.

 

Lastly, the Gentle Shampoo. True to its name, this shampoo was very gentle and mild, and it made shampooing a snap. I won’t say my daughter loved getting her hair washed, but when I used this shampoo, she certainly didn’t protest the way she usually does. Considering how much she usually hates having her hair washed, it was a big improvement.

All in all, I would definitely recommend the Green Beaver Jr. for Kids products. They smell nice, and their all-natural ingredients were soft on my family’s skin. They made bath time a breeze and fun too. What more could you ask for?

I’m a huge fan of Glamourmom – the built-in nursing bra. I especially like that the company’s founder was inspired as a nursing mother to create comfortable nursing wear that is functional, of course, but ultimately stylish.

I was lucky enough to receive a Glamourmom nursing bra top with lace trim for review. As any new mom knows, we need to avoid that dreadful frumpy feeling and wearing a Glamourmom Nursing Bra Top with Lace Trim does just that! This tank was Glamourmom’s original item and it still stands alone as the company has expanded its line to include sleepwear and bathing suits!

The tank is constructed of 92% cotton with the rest elastane–which I love, as it helps the tank to retain its shape–unlike a total cotton tank, which can become stretched out and saggy. This is quality; even after numerous nursing session and multiple washings, this tank top always bounces back to its original form. It’s fantastic!

The fit is fabulous too! It’s super comfortable and not at all cumbersome as some of the more typical nursing bras can be–and it’s not at all like wearing a regular tank with a built in bra shelf that provides absolutely zero support.

It’s really, actually a bra and thus provides all the breast support of a standard bra. It makes nursing so simple, with its traditional nursing bra hook closure, which are easy to open with only one hand. The tank also provides total tummy coverage, only adding to its comfort and convenience. Forget about having to pull up your shirt while unhooking your bra to pull down; what a hassle. That’s just not the case with a Nursing Bra Top!

I chose the nude color because I enjoy having something neutral to toss any button down over. I love it!

All the features were helpful without being overwhelming. Additionally, it’s unobtrusive and small, perfect for any parent’s crowded night stand.

I would totally recommend ITZBEEN Baby Care Timer for anyone who wishes they had a better way to keep track of feedings, changings and sleep times. Forget boring charts and waking up in the middle of the night trying to remember when the last time you fed your infant was. This timer makes everything easy, and you’ll definitely be glad you have it on your side!

If you haven’t already heard of Matilda Jane clothing, you’ll be glad you did. Matilda Jane is an adorable line of clothing for young girls with tons of cute clothes. All the pieces are fun and comfortable, easy to wear and brightly colored. They’re not too flashy and are always age appropriate. All in all, the Matilda Jane clothes are perfect for the young girl who wants fun clothes that won’t get in the way of playing and running around.

Both my daughter and I loved the Sparkletown tee from Matilda Jane’s Sparkletown line. The Sparkletown collection is full of cute, festive clothes and the Sparkletown tee fits the bill perfectly. It’s a cotton, long-sleeve tee with a slight bell sleeve at the wrists. The cherry-red fabric is complemented by the cream colored polka-dots, and to top it all off, it says Sparkletown across the front in sparkly letters.

The Sparkletown dress that it’s paired with is also adorable. Made out of four differently patterned fabrics, the dress is very colorful and absolutely fun. Meant to be worn over the Sparkletown tee, it’s a jumper style dress with tank top straps and a mock-apron over the skirt of the dress. Worn all together, the dress and the tee make for a perfect outfit for a play date, lunch at grandma’s or a picnic in the park.

My favorite thing about the Matilda Jane clothing is that solves the problem of fighting over clothing. Everyone knows how frustrating it is to argue with a headstrong toddler over what to wear in the morning, but with these clothes, there’s no need to disagree. I love the clothes because they’re cute and well-made, and my daughter loves them because they fit her personality. As soon as we got the Sparkletown tee, she wanted to put it on right away, and I was happy to oblige.

If you’re looking for clothes that will make both you and your daughter happy, the Matilda Jane line of clothes, and the Sparkletown tee in particular, are perfect. They’re always comfortable and easy to play in, and you and your child will love the bright colors and brilliant patterns. I would definitely suggest checking the company out.

One especially nice thing about Matilda Jane is that it’s available partially through trunk shows, which makes for a much more intimate shopping experience. However, they also have an online shopping site, so if you already know what you want, it’s easy to get it on the Internet. Matilda Jane is truly the best of both worlds.

Baby Genius Adventure Train Set Review And Giveaway Ends 5/16 (US/CAN)

Like all the Baby Genius toys, the Baby Genius Adventure Train Set will keep your child entertained for hours. Baby Genius offers toys that are fun to play with and open to creativity. They are both educational and entertaining, and will provide hours of excitement for your little one.

The Baby Genius Adventure Train Set was a blast for my daughter to play with. First off, it comes with interchangeable train parts, so you can create any shape track you want. Figure eights, circuits, lines; you name it, this track can be configured in that way. My little one had fun going under tables, around chair legs and on top of any flat surface in our house.

Also, the trains are kid-powered, not battery operated. As every parent has seen, the more batteries involved, the less interactive a toy is. But these trains are completely child-driven, making them more engaging and fun to play with. Plus, no batteries means no pre-recorded train noises, so make up some of your own! My girl was choo-chooing and chuga-chugging all over the house.

I love the Baby Genius brand of toys, and this train set was no exception. The trains make it easy for your child to play alone or with others for hours on end. Also, they spark lots of imaginative play. It’s easy to pretend and make up stories about where the people on the train are going, what they’ll do when they get there and all other sorts of things.

Plus, the Baby Genius cast of characters, including DJ, Vinko and Tempe, are along for the ride! You can see them peeking out of the train windows, which makes it feel like you’re already playing with your best friends. Have fun playing with your son or daughter and talking about all the Baby Genius animals.

This toy was a blast for my daughter, and I enjoyed playing it with her too. It’s sturdy and easy to put together, so you can just open up the box and get started. It’s guaranteed fun for hours, because you can rearrange the tracks, move the trains around and play lots of pretend games. When my daughter and I played together, we pretended the train was going to Timbuktu, and I’m sure you’ll be surprised with what ideas your child comes up with. I would definitely recommend this for any one with toddlers or preschoolers. You’ll be surprised at how much fun you have with the Baby Genius Adventure Train Set.
