Dora’s Ballet Adventures And Dora’s BIG Birthday Adventure DVD Review
Nickelodeon Consumer Products has an exciting range of playthings for your kids. They offer a large number of board games, books, comics, DVDs, toys, electronics, and video games to keep your children amused. The intensity of these products (majorly shows and play items) is to a level that you will find your kids singing and dancing all the time.
Recently, I got 2 DVDs of ‘Dora the Explorer’ for my daughter from Nickelodeon for review. Both of these were tremendously adored by my daughter and all her friends whom I had called for a treat. Children all across the globe love young Dora and her monkey Boots. I knew it was going to be a hit amongst them, but didn’t expect that all of them would get involved to that level.
The DVDs I got were the Dora’s Ballet Adventures and the Dora’s Big Birthday Adventure. Each of the DVDs has a few episodes. Dora is seen enjoying dancing in four dancing episodes in her latest big dance show ‘Dora’s Ballet Adventures’. My daughter got very upbeat at the start of the DVD when Dora is on the way to her Dance School. At the school, Dora puts on her dance slippers, and then leads a musical parade along with Boots. The birthday celebration of Boots in the later part also charged my daughter and she enjoyed every bit of it enthusiastically. Costing just $16.99, this DVD is a must have for your child.
The “Dora’s Big Birthday Adventure” is an equally entertaining Dora the Explorer DVD by Nickelodeon. Your kids would love to watch out Dora’s Birthday celebrations when Dora and Boots return home from the Wizzle World. It has a great birthday adventure game and as well as a good pop-up of the best of characters from Dora the Explorer. Priced at $16.99, it’s a great experience for the kids. The theme of all the episodes is that it is a high energy show for pre-schooling children.
I love to see my child bloom with joy. In fact every parent strives for the same. These wonderful products from Nickelodeon Consumer Products are a great step to have what we all work for all the time. I am sure your kids would also get involved in the dancing celebrations just as my daughter and all of her friends did.

Dora the Explorer DVD Set Review
Long gone are the days when we can just set the channel for our kids and go on with your chores. Honestly, as an Asian parent, the word “whatever” that is usually heard on the cartoon channels nowadays, isn’t on my vocabulary, most especially for my little girl. I have only one daughter who is 20 months old. As a mom, I wanted to filter everything before it enters my child’s brain, of course we can’t control this, but you can’t simply pull a mother on the race track. Asian Parent Company understands the mother’s unvoiced needs. By impeccably upholding the virtues of our roots; we now have the chance or way of sharing our most valued ancestral wisdom. The Asian Parent is an online bookstore, specializes on Chinese books and DVDs for children, their company started on June of 2006. Equipped with the universal faith in the power reading they embed the Chinese culture in their reading materials. Their product audience is from newborn up to 12 years old.
Two weeks ago, I received the Dora the Explorer 5 (Chinese and Bilingual 6 disk DVDs set) from Asian Parent Company for product review and evaluation. Dora the Explorer on Nick Jr. is one my daughter’s favorite cartoons. Dora earned the trademark of being efficient in delivering Spanish words on viewers of all ages. Amazingly, Dora has a very captivating appeal on children, their use of Spanish is somewhat given in a silver-tongued way.
Being an Asian parent, it really made me feel special that Dora is now speaking in Chinese/ Mandarin. I was excited to view this myself. Dora the Explorer 5 (Chinese and Bilingual 6 disk DVDs set) is mainly 80% Mandarin and 20% English, a competent way for our children to learn Chinese. Technically, Dora the Explorer 5 (Chinese and Bilingual 6 disk DVDs set) is modified for Chinese children to have an early grasp on English Language. On the vice versa situation (aiming to grasp Chinese Language) it is also highly recommendable. Children have an enormous capability on learning at a very early stage. For example, in my own experience, every time I put my daughter to sleep, I never sung any lullabies, only the alphabet and our National Anthem, astonishingly before she turns 1, she can sing the alphabet song and can keep up with me as I sing the National Anthem. This applies to any educational system we chose. The key for me is early repetitive technique.
On Dora the Explorer 5 (Chinese and Bilingual 6 disk DVDs set) I am personally amused to see “backpack” singing in Chinese, my heart smiled knowing that these types of educational products were specially crafted. It also comes with flashcards, Chinese strokes (words) are vividly presented on these flashcards, with English words to define the realistic figures, and so as how to pronounce the said English word.
Asian Parent online bookstore caters to all mothers who are open to the world. And for those who want to embrace their culture, Asian Parent offers genuinely traditional books for this generation. They also have Asian Parent Toys, all manufactured in US and Europe.
