Alphabet Kids, an original, multicultural children’s book series, introduces children aged two through seven years to a host of characters: Allegra (Italian-American), Elena (Hispanic-American), Isaac (Jewish-American), Oni (African-American), Umar (Arab-American), and Yang (Chinese-American), to follow their adventures as they learn to embrace their cultural and ethnic heritage.

The series was created by Allegra Joyce Kassin, a devoted mother of five and grandmother of seven, who was in search of books that highlight children from all countries for her own youngest child.

I was sent “Elena’s Birthday Surprise” and a cute tote bag from Alphabet Kids for review. The book is a very interesting book ideal for every child in her/his early childhood education. My daughter had a wonderful time reading the story with me and ask for it again and again. I hope she can learn from it that people who are different can be very good friends!

ShuShyBye Sleepover Surprise Book & CD Review And Giveaway Ends 3/14

I must confess I am always excited to put my child to sleep, because as a woman I need to have enough time for myself too, from finishing my daily chores to reading my favorite book and for my nightly routine as well. Hope you won’t call me selfish, but hands-on mother could somewhat relate to this.

I remember when my daughter was just an infant I never had a hard time putting her to sleep, our bedtime routine efficiently gave me sufficient time. But I have to cope up with the changes, the moment finally arrived, her infant routine wasn’t working anymore. It would take me almost two hours just to put her to sleep, as much as I don’t want to, my frustration sets in.

Shushybye children series on BabyFirstTV is available on cable and satellite channel in the US which focuses on child’s healthy night-time routines. In case that you didn’t catch their highly recommended show, I’ll tell you some tidbits about it.

Shushybye’s children program is not an animated series, which is really good because flashy cartoon shows tend to lessen our child’s capability to imagine on the higher level, and it induces a hyperactive effect on them. The Shushybye TV series would set your child in the sleep-mode, it’s like their characters are telling your child that be ready to sleep because a lot of great things are about to happen. They offer an exciting presentation in a calming way. I received these Shushybye’s Sleepover Surprise book and CD for product evaluation. From the iParenting and Family Choice Award-Winning toddler and preschool sleep-themed entertainment (obviously the one I am talking about earlier) in which they partnered with St Martin’s Press.

On the first night that we received the Shushybye’s Sleepover Surprise book and CD, we were both excited; as soon as the read-along CD plays I watched my daughter calmed down, serious on the three best-buds Zeez, Dozie and Snoozles. The two of them created an unexpected concert treat for Dozie. She loves how the story is narrated, and with three songs, my little angle surely has enough music to carry on to her dreamland. And with less than 30 minutes, she’s set to her deep slumber. The Shushybye’s Sleepover Surprise book and CD is now the highlight of our bedtime routine, or maybe just for me, for the best part would be my daughter’s adventures in her dreams. One thing for sure, Shushybye’s Sleepover Surprise book and CD improves my child’s sleeping habit in a very imaginative way, and it also made my life easier.
