my daughter’s dcootr gave us one of these swaddle blankets when she was just about a month old. the dcootr told us the story of a baby who wouldn’t sleep and was wearing himself out crying and draining his poor mother’s energy. the baby happened to be the dcootr’s nephew. she (the dr.) trained the baby to sleep in a regular pattern/on a schedule in less than five days by using this swaddle blanket. i didn’t think it was possible. however, my baby girl quickly learned that the blanket meant it was time to sleep, and she was almost immediately sleeping through the night. my own mother was floored as she watched me wrap the baby up and my little one literally turned her head to the side and went to sleep. like someone else said, i can wrap her up, put her in her crib, and walk out of the room knowing that she’ll peacefully nod off to sleep within minutes. a true must have!!!
