It’s officially fall now, and that means colder weather and warmer clothes. I love this time of year because it gives me a reason to wear scarves, which are one of my favorite fashion accessories.
This scarf that I received from Snoozer Loser is probably my new favorite! It’s a beautiful light pink color, and it has these green, fun, quirky, outline drawings of small canisters and jars on it. The scarf is also lightweight, the material is made out of viscose and silk, which means that you could wear it outside to actually stay warm, and you could wear it inside to accessorize your ensemble without feeling too stuffy in it.
I feel that you should only buy things if you really love them the moment you see it, and I would like to think you would feel this way about this scarf. I saw this on the Snoozer Loser website and it was love at first sight. Why do I love this scarf? There are a few different reasons. Because of the look of the scarf and feel of the material, it makes it a very versatile item. You could easily play it up with a dress, skirt, or blouse. Or you could also wear it casual. It would look great with a warmer, long sleeved, tunic that’s paired with leggings and boots (one of my favorite looks for fall). I think this scarf is great for financial reasons as well. The scarf is $46, which I fell is reasonable for a high end, quality product. I think that most people don’t want to waste their money on frivolous spending (especially moms, kids are expensive). This is something you could wear over and over again, with many different outfits. Because the fabric is such good quality, it will last a long time. I know I would get my money’s worth out of this item.
The website that you can get it from is pretty amazing as well. It’s very important to me to know that I’m doing whatever I can to not leave my ecological footprint behind. It’s great to know that others feel the same way. If we can apply that belief to fashion I think it’s even better. The Snoozer Loser line was founded by Sonia Tay (she is also the clothing designer), who started the Snoozer Loser Art Collective in 2005. Snoozer Loser items are made to order, so that means there’s as little waste as possible. She believes that this line should be as sustainable and eco-conscious as they can be. The clothes and accessories are also handmade and handcrafted for each order. So the dyes and pigments that they use (which are water based) don’t get hand-printed on what they’re making for you until it’s ordered. I told you the site is amazing. The end result is beautiful, vintage inspired, comfortable clothing, scarves, jewelry, totes, and more. I highly recommend taking a look, whether it’s for you or if you’re looking for a great gift for a friend.
