Skechers have become popular shoes for the entire family. There are now a multitude of different styles of Skechers made for men, women, boys, and girls, for any number of activities and occasions. My family loves the look and feel of these shoes, and the many styles and colors offer a variety of options for each of us, their over the top comfort placing them at the top of our list of favorites.
Skechers offers wonderful shoes for women, Skechers GoWalk 2 Golf – Lynx Ballistic, a perfect Christmas gift for the busy mom.
Made of leather with a fabric of ballistic mesh, these shoes are athletic and waterproof, manufactured with golf and walking in the forefront. This pair of shoes is built with a V-stride technology, which gives it an angled outsole that flows with the natural walking movement. The midsole is lightweight and made with memory retention that absorbs impact. Great for walking, Skechers GoWalk 2 Golf – Lynx Ballistic are light enough to keep that spring in your step, but durable, and with enough cushion, to protect your feet no matter what type of surface you move along. The inside of the shoe is lined with an integrated Ortholite anti-microbial sock liner that absorbs odors and eliminates the need to wear socks while golfing or walking.

The Skechers GOtrail Odyssey is designed of pigskin nubuk leather with an upper that is a mesh and synthetic fabric. As is the women’s shoe, the GOtrail Odyssey is waterproof and is sealed in H2GO Scotchguard. The midsole is cushioned for impact and the forefoot contains a Dupont Hytrel pressure plate that protects the front of the foot during high impact. The shoe is designed as a hightop to provide the ankle with extra protection as well. The Skechers GOtrail Odyssey is designed with high impact trail running in mind, and every inch of the shoe easily meets the standards set down for this type of movement. The wearer’s feet are protected from front to back, inside and out, and are kept warm and dry no matter what the weather or running surface.
Children are never placed at the back of the line when it comes to Skechers style and protection. For my daughter Skechers has come up with the adorable Skech-Air Ultra – Glam it up. This shoe provides the same comfort and protection for her feet as do all Skechers products, including an air cushion midsole, glitter fabric upper, and a memory foam insole. The Skech-Air Ultra – Glam it up comes in three colors and my daughter’s favorite is this silver multi color. It features an air cushion pod sole for a bouncing comfort effect and the outsole is made of a translucent glitter rubber design. Not only are these shoes attractive and colorful enough to appeal to any little girl, but they are durable and protective enough to handle anything and everything my daughter’s active day puts them through!
Little boys are certainly not forgotten when it comes to fun and durable shoes by Skechers! The Skechers Damager – Game Kicks II Fight is exactly the shoe that fits my little guy’s personality and lifestyle. Active, curious, and fearless, he is a typical little boy who needs a good, strong, durable, yet comfortable shoe. Well, Skechers has hit the jackpot with the Damager – Game Kicks II Fight! It first appeals to the eye of the discerning little boy, designed with an upper made of smooth metallic leather and sprinkled with different bright colors from the front to the back of the shoe. Its fighter plane design provides some very busy features for my son, with different colored buttons on the toes that he can push to play the fully functional air fight game. There is even a remote control that he can keep inside the top pocket of the shoe. All he has to do is to push the button on the remote control, then the button on the shoe, and he’s off and playing! The look of the shoe is completely engulfed in the classic “dogfighter” theme, right down to the face printed on the front.
The Skechers Damager – Game Kicks II Fight follows along with all Skechers footwear in providing comfort and safety for my son. It comes with a cushioned insole, padding inside the tongue and the collar, and the outsole is designed for high traction. The lining of the shoe is a soft fabric that keeps his feet comfortable throughout his busy, dogfighting day.
Skechers under the Christmas tree will be the delight of every family member. They are not only pleasing to the eye, but also fit right in with every need for comfort, breathability, and protection!
