It’s traditionally a game board for 2-4 players. It’s traditionally a one kind of game enjoyed by most. It’s traditionally wooden or plastic tiles. It’s okay to be traditional, but life is getting so much better that technology is topping tradition with easier, more challenging and more fun games. Such is the case with every Hasbro releases. Just as it is with HASBRO SCRABBLE FLASH, the Scrabble we loved in the old days are now much, much more exciting. The game board and tile is now far different from how it was, because now there’s no need for a game board. The very tile is electronic in itself that the letters flash in each of the five tiles and you are to form a 3-5 letter word out of them.
One great thing with the newest scrabble is that there are more games to play it with instead of just one:
· Scrabble Flash – a 75 second chance for the player to come up with as much words as possible. That’s one (1) point for each 3-5 letter words. With every five (5) letter word, the player gets additional 5 more seconds. When time is up, the tile reveals how many points the player garnered versus the possible number of points that may have reached.
· Scrabble Five-Letter Flash- identical to the one above except that this time you are to guess every provided set of five (5) letter word. But whenever you guess right, it will change again to another set. This is also for 75 seconds for you to guess as much words as possible.
· Scrabble Pass Flash – this time a group game. Players will take turns guessing the five (5) letter word. There will have to be a sequence as to who comes next. A set of five (5) letters will be revealed and the player has to guess before the tile says’ out or you’re out. If you are quick enough, guess and hit the button which signals the tile to reveal another set saying “next” for the next players cue. The time limit goes shorter each time, until the last one standing player is declared the winner.
Definitely another to add in the upbeat of your family game night! In fact it is something that can be used at any other time that you need to kill time as it is not only enjoyable but also easy to carry around. Price truly is worth it as it gives you the chance to improve your quick-thinking ability, sharpen your vocabulary and tighten the bonding with family and friends. My little one may not be old enough to truly participate but somehow joins in the fun and guessing. Soon she’ll develop as her brain, like all other pre-school age, is like a sponge that absorbs those words she hear. A good training that starts as early as TODAY.
