Nerf Laser Ops Review And Giveaway

Are you ready for the battle? You better be. Because I was not. So now I’m just a poor watcher while my husband and son are enjoying in his (or should I say, their) new boy toy, Laser Ops Pro Blasters by Nerf. Their many years of “experience” after who knows how many hours of watching the action movies makes them real-life super-heroes and warriors. So I’ve been enjoying live-action laser battles every day. And I can tell you, it’s fun to see them having fun.

Laser Ops Pro Blasters are, in simple words, the guns that are firing laser blasts. They are intended for ages of 8+, but both adults and children can equally enjoy playing with these. These laser blasters are made very realistically, from quality plastic. With the help of sound and light effects, players get an even more realistic picture as if you were in a real fight.

In the package, you get two blasters and two armbands, which you can connect with your phone. Armbands, however, can’t protect your devices from falling and damage, so it is a warm recommendation to additionally secure them, with a phone case or screen glass for example.

We currently have the Laser Ops Pro AlphaPoint. Besides that one, there is a slightly larger and more advanced version, Laser Ops Pro Deltaburst. In principle, there are no significant differences, except that Deltaburst has a multi-shots option. AlphaPoint blasters fire single shots, and the ammunition is unlimited. This just means that there are no add-ons like bullets; just activate the reload by pushing the button on the blaster. With sound and light effects, players will know when the reload time is.

I’m not quite familiar with the rules of “warfare,” so I’ll try to describe how to play with the Laser Ops Pro Blasters. There are two ways, online and live. “Live battles” demands open area, in a natural environment and, in some way, kids learn how to coordinate and find the orientation. Of course, it is not advisable to play with blasters in the complete dark or in a small space. The blaster guns have a range of about 225 feet so you can wait for the right shot opportunity somewhere in the ambush.

When playing on the app, the kids can choose whether they will fight in teams or free for all. There are red and blue teams, and if everyone plays solo, they choose a purple color. Armband serves to attach your phone to the blaster and activate an application by which you check your statistics, where your opponent is, and your ammo. There is a global list of all players, and you can follow your position.

App also offers two modes for playing solo – single-player mode and multi-player mode. The connection is via Bluetooth; you just place the device with the installed application on the holder on your gun. Numerous obstacles and targets are showing up on the screen. Every time you shoot, the red light turns on. The app is easy to use; all instructions are clear, so you can easily select the game mode and enjoy.

Laser Ops Pro Blasters are a great way to amuse a larger group of kids when you’re having a party or family gathering. It can be an excellent gift for any boy, although girls can play too.
