You can never question the mother’s dedication to their babies. Once you get into the mother’s shoes, the desire to search for what is best never ends. In my own personal belief, fate may not be in my hands, but faith in my capabilities is enough assurance. Such as the launch of the Maggie’s Organic / Clean Clothes Company who pioneered the organic-clothes-manufacturing in the United States in the early 90’s, an irony that turned out to be a blessing in disguise for this generation. They started in 1992 as an accessories shop, the owner’s previous field of work was on organic food industry, focusing on organic agriculture. Facing troubles on distributing blue organic corn tortilla chips, organic farmers come up with the out-of-hand solution. They filled the 100 acre with organic cotton, the rest is history. But from that, the creation of organic cotton-made apparel blossomed.

As a first time mom, I must admit I genuinely wanted to be complete-hands on with my daughter. I never asked or consulted other moms on what brands are they using, I compulsively bought everything I believe will be the best for my daughter. Until just two weeks ago I receive these baby and youth tights from Maggie’s Organics for product trial and evaluation. The product is made of 73 % certified organic cotton, and 22% nylon, 3%lyrca, 2% rubber for elasticity. These baby and youth tights are available in four not-so gender specific colors, for me it s quite-classy looking on babies because of the quality exudes on its texture.

Baby’s skin is prone to allergies, such as minor itches and redness. In my experience, this happens when her socks is too tight on the upper leg part or by the fabric itself. But with the baby and youth tights by Maggie’s Organics she’s at her best mood, I remember tickling her the first time I tried on her the tights, “hey, happy feet!” I happily noticed her little toes moving comfortably. The other fascinating quality of this product is that these baby and youth tights are sewn to perfection. Some of the socks in the baby’s wear have this unnoticeable thread on the reverse side of the socks, take note mothers, if you were have any existing socks double check, even after washing, these threads can be very dangerous, it might curled-up on your baby’s little toes. With Maggie’s Organics little girl’s tights, you won’t see any lose threads, but it is still advisable to check the reverse side of the socks before wearing. The organic tights are also available in, infant, toddler and youth sizes.

Finding out that cotton differs from organic cotton, such as fruits to organic fruits (doesn’t use pesticides or insecticides at all) has a huge impact on my product selection now. As much as possible let us not just purchase products based on comfort or even colors. Real “best find” products are not flashy, but it requires our outmost attention, not with the price but with the fabrication as well.
