For me drinking tea is one of the important parts of my day as it is healthy and relaxing. Being a mom on the go most of the times, I am always rushing around taking care of the family needs. With the holiday season it becomes even worse finding the time to sit down and relax with a nice cup of fresh brewed tea seems to be lost somewhere during the day.
Libre sent me one of their Large Lively Tea Glass to review and what a pleasure this had not been in my frenzied day. I was so thrilled to try out my new on the go tea glass that I decided there and then to test it.
The glass of the Lively Tea Glass covered in a variety of green lime leaf patterns that dance on the side of this see through glass and used with choice of cold or hot tea providing you with a tea drinking sensation all year round. What a great holiday gift for someone to enjoy his or her tea in.
Now the test of making my favorite tea in this tea glass and has a removable easy to clean stainless steel filter for your tea leaves and as it is transparent, you can see your tea leaves brewing in the glass. You can brew tea in the Libre Large Lively Tea Glass by using two methods; you can place the tea in the base of the glass and sip through the filter lid or place your tea between the filter lid and top section of the lid.
When brewing my tea I found that I needed to let the steam dissipate before putting on the lid as this allows the seal not to leak any of your favorite tea all over you. It has two layers of glass that when I picked it up it did not burn me at all and felt quite comfortable in my hands keeping them nice and warm while enjoying my brewed tea. Even cleaning the tea glass had been easy and needs a little more rubbing, as you would clean wine or any type of glass not to leave and ugly stripes all over them.
I found the heat retention to be great to as I found that it kept my tea warm up to 1-2 hours, but if you are planning to sip your tea through a whole day then it will not keep your tea warm all the time to enjoy. The next thing I tested was drinking out of this on the go tea glass and all I can say is that you should ensure that when removing the cap make certain that the tea escapes back into the glass and not all over your lap while travelling.
The tea glass comes perfectly designed and fitted comfortably in my hands, and is made BPA free safe for you to drink out of without causing any harm to your body. Pop it into your travel bag.
