Hasbro Family Game Night – Twister Review And Giveaway
These days, most of the population of children or teens is more into digital entertainment and fun. Locked up in a four wall, doing things unknown. It doesn’t hurt to have a physical activity without having to leave the house and go to a gym.
One of the many entertaining games played is Twister from Hasbro. Twister is as easy as ABC, but this is a game that can tangle you. It doesn’t require any battery to work. The game includes a mat as its playing surface and it has six circles for each colors of red, yellow, blue and green. The Twister mat is easy to clean, by just wiping the whole mat surface. Though it can be slippery when not dried properly. Together with the game’s mat, it comes with the spinner arrow. An appointed person spins the spinner and tells the players the instructions to follow such as: “right hand blue, right foot green”. The players should follow the direction given and try not to fall over any part of their body except the ones involved in the game. By placing the right part of the body on the circle with the correct color that the spinner arrow points at, and the last person standing wins the game.
Children, adults or children and adults can play this game at the same time. For adults, toughness is tested while for children, the ability to keep in mind the difference of left from right and recognizing colors. For that reason, this game is not only for physical purposes but as well as with mental development. This game could be used as a perfect entertaining activity for children in parties, family reunions, or even a simple family day/night at home. In our home, we tried this game to bond and had fun when we were all together this family long weekend. This game is also highly recommended for office parties, and team building activities to build new friends, which promotes a healthy social living.
This is a suitable game for all ages–children with adults, children with children or adults with adults. This game is recommendable for children ages 6 years old and above but as in any game, we can play with the rules or around it. As it is with my little one, we play it for fun and so we just put it simple challenges for her and her cousins. Good thing there is this great game for our family day game night to keep the bonding time worth waiting for.
The game requires a minimum of 2 players. It helps to bring out the childish face of every adult, and kids as kids. This is also a perfect game for assessing your ability in balancing. The players of this game are prone to physical injuries if not careful. However, it won’t stop the fun if with the proper safety precautions!
So turn your do-whatever-you-want Thursday to Twister Thursday just like our family does!
