Halo SleepSack Wearable Blanket – Reduce The Risk of SIDS Review And Giveaway

prizeypickLike many of you, we used to cover our baby with a thick heavy blanket. We also used loose bedding in the crib to provide what we thought to be comfort for our baby. We did not know all that we did to keep our baby comfortable and warm at night was actually endangering her life as loose bedding and heavy blanket can easily cause Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). We were told by friends and learned from books that the only way a baby would sleep through the night was to keep her warm and tightly cover her body with a warm blanket so that she would feel secure and safe. It was very frustrating that she used to kick away the loose light blanket and as soon as the blanket was off she would start crying. Because of our lack of knowledge back then, both my husband and I did not have good night’s sleep until our baby reached the age of approximately 1 year old, when she would finally sleep through the night after a good bottle of milk.

If we knew there were products like the selection of sleepsacks by “Halo”, our life would have been much better. At least all the sleepless nights we had would have been avoided. Our extensive research over the year which provided us with knowledge of what is good or bad in the baby product market and news about the cases of infant death due to defect products or products that are simply dangerous to baby, we must say the Sleepsack by Halo is an outstanding product that parents should use to ensure the safety of their baby, to avoid SIDS, as well as to help themselves get a better night’s sleep. “Halo” has both organic baby sleepsacks and non-organic baby sleepsacks. For a nature lover and someone who cares about our environment, the organic sleepsack is a good choice.

Here are some good reasons why you should use a HALO Sleep Sack Wearable Blanket. “The U.S. Consumer products Safety Commission, the American Academy of Pediatrics and First Candle/SIDS Alliance warn against loose bedding in the crib. New guidelines now suggest the use of a wearable blanket. Bedding that bunches up around a baby’s mouth and nose can cause dangerous re-breathing of carbon dioxide. The HALO Sleepsack wearable blanket reduces the likelihood of infants getting blankets over or around their face. In addition, parents report their babies sleep better since they stay covered throughout the night.”

  1. I love the Technical Comfort System® – Coveralls. They are not only adorable, but comfy looking as well. Definitely something that would help out with the rashes and such. Thanks.
