I’m a huge fan of Glamourmom – the built-in nursing bra. I especially like that the company’s founder was inspired as a nursing mother to create comfortable nursing wear that is functional, of course, but ultimately stylish.

I was lucky enough to receive a Glamourmom nursing bra top with lace trim for review. As any new mom knows, we need to avoid that dreadful frumpy feeling and wearing a Glamourmom Nursing Bra Top with Lace Trim does just that! This tank was Glamourmom’s original item and it still stands alone as the company has expanded its line to include sleepwear and bathing suits!

The tank is constructed of 92% cotton with the rest elastane–which I love, as it helps the tank to retain its shape–unlike a total cotton tank, which can become stretched out and saggy. This is quality; even after numerous nursing session and multiple washings, this tank top always bounces back to its original form. It’s fantastic!

The fit is fabulous too! It’s super comfortable and not at all cumbersome as some of the more typical nursing bras can be–and it’s not at all like wearing a regular tank with a built in bra shelf that provides absolutely zero support.

It’s really, actually a bra and thus provides all the breast support of a standard bra. It makes nursing so simple, with its traditional nursing bra hook closure, which are easy to open with only one hand. The tank also provides total tummy coverage, only adding to its comfort and convenience. Forget about having to pull up your shirt while unhooking your bra to pull down; what a hassle. That’s just not the case with a Nursing Bra Top!

I chose the nude color because I enjoy having something neutral to toss any button down over. I love it!

  88. Regarding GlamourMom: I have never had such a poor customer service experience in my life. My mother ordered me a nursing tank from GlamourMom.com in a small, which was advertised as a 32-36 bust, D-DDD. I am a 34D and this size was too small for me. I called and requested an RMA number in order to send it back and exchange it for a medium. I was told I would have to pay return shipping, but as long as the product was in unworn/new condition, the exchange would not be a problem. About a week and a half later, after sending the item back, I received a replacement package from GlamourMom. The item inside was again a size small, not the medium I requested. Noted on the packing slip was the following: “return to customer. deodorant (inside front & back)” I called GlamourMom because I thought clearly this was a mistake – there was absolutely no deodorant on the item anywhere. I was not wearing deodorant when I tried it on, because I had read the disclaimer about them rejecting items with deodorant stains! The woman I reached at GlamourMom was uncooperative. I offered to send pictures of the item proving there were absolutely no stains. She refused and told me that their determination was final, regardless. She told me they would not refund or exchange the item. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told that I was already talking to the supervisor, that there was no one else to hear my complaint. I am livid over this – Not only was the item sized incorrectly (I’m a 34D, a small should have fit), but I returned the item in PERFECT condition. Do NOT do business with this company – There are plenty of other nursing bra/tank resources, and probably at more competitive prices!
