Dria Nursing Cover Review And Giveaway

Breast milk is simply the best food for baby. However, it means you need to remain close to your baby, and if you go out, be prepared to give your baby food on the go. Although society is becoming more accepting of public breastfeeding, it is still nice to have some coverage for privacy. Babies also can get distracted, and a cover can help them focus.

I was eager to try a different style of nursing cover, because I can’t say I am too big of a fan of the apron style. I find those a bit unattractive, and you have to figure out where they are when you need them. The Dria cover is different. You can wear it as a layer and it’s actually cute looking, so it’s already on you when you want to nurse. You could go for a black one that would match almost anything, or try one of their more interesting designs. I knew the grey striped one would match more of my fall clothing, as it’s relatively neutral. The fabric is very soft and flexible, molding to your body.

I tested out the Dria cover first while pumping. I always have to draw the shades closed in my house while pumping and I didn’t feel the need to do that with this on. There was plenty of room to adjust via the side slit. I felt less vulnerable with this cover on. It was nice and cozy, and on a cool fall day I could see myself wearing it all day.

I wore the Dria cover again when people were visiting and when out at the library and walking around town. I usually wear v-necks or scoop necks shirts, which aren’t the most modest when going to feed my baby. The Dria breastfeeding cover gave me a lot more privacy and I could stress less about what shirt to wear when people were over, also because my shirts get milk on them. I could just keep wearing the cover in that case, since it looks like a fashionable shirt. I did notice my baby got a little bit frustrated by being covered at times (as she does with other covers as well), but with more practice she will get used to it.

I love that the Dria cover is multipurpose. It also stretches over a car seat or stroller to make a shade. My baby isn’t a huge fan of car seats or strollers yet, but it’s nice to know we have an option to cover. I’ve used a blanket before and it always falls off, whereas this cover fits nice and snugly.

I got many compliments on my Dria cover. I love that it looks chic, not frumpy. The Dria cover also folds up nice and small to tuck into your diaper bag or purse while you are out. I’ll be sure to carry it wherever I go.
