My daughter is a huge Dora fan and she watches dora the explorer episodes every day. But sometimes the TV show is repetitive and then she will ask me when the new episode will come out. She was so excited when we received this new Dora the Explorer: Dora’s Easter Adventure for review. Actually she loves watching it. The story is set on an Easter Sunday when Bunny carried the eggs to Dora and Boots. Unfortunately, Swiper the Fox swipes them all up and threw it into a rainbow garden. My daughter was very enthusiastic is watching the episode especially when the three friends began their way to rescue the basket of eggs from getting drowned in a nearby waterfalls.
My daughter was very happy to sing along with the movie. She joined along while everybody started singing the Hip-Hop Bunny’s Easter. There were more songs in the movie that she enjoyed the most. I was also singing with her and thought that it was really fun. Aside from songs, she can interact with the entire episode. The DVD also features two bonus episodes about the Troll Land and the Grumpy Old Troll. Although it’s not yet Easter, my daughter is already very eager to know if the Easter Bunny will pay our house a visit. Dora’s Easter Adventure DVD has opened her mind to become more imaginative.
Aside from the total 3 episodes to watch out for the entire DVD, Dora the Explorer: Dora’s Easter Adventure includes interactive games and 5 karaoke songs. This excites her even more as she gets to sing songs that are already familiar. I highly recommend this DVD. This is because it helps my little girl to develop her memorization skills as she sings along and helps her recognize things through interactive games led by Dora and Boots. It also boosts her imagination as she anticipates what will happen next. As Dora and Boots are on their way to find basketful of eggs, my daughter also develops her critical thinking in answering where she thinks the eggs are. It would be a perfect easter basket gift for your little one!
