Disney Frozen Hairstyles: Inspired by Anna and Elsa

I must admit that I was very excited with this hair fashion book because the moment I saw it, I knew that my daughter would be amazed with it. And as expected she fell in love with it. She had seen the movie Frozen so many times that even I have memorized almost every line in the movie. Every turn of this book’s page will definitely take you to this fantasy and heartfelt story of sisterly love. It has photos that show clear and easy-to-follow instructions and the best part are the lovely photos of the beautiful girls with the finished product that are truly inspiring because they look like princesses with these creative hairstyles.

My daughter loves to pretend play as Princess Anna or Queen Elsa so she would always ask me to braid her hair. I can only do basic and French braid so the Braid School part of the book made it easy for me to make the difficult ones. I would usually just split her hair down in the middle and make two braids. She’ll be happy with it as she puts on a long dress, a crown and socks turned into gloves and sings along with the song Let it Go. But when I got this book, we were both delighted and eager to try each one of them. I took a closer look at Anna and Elsa’s hair while she was playing the movie over and over again. And I was so thrilled seeing we can actually do their hairstyle and it was easier than I expected because it gives tips on how to make things fashionably elegant.

Though most of these updos, buns and twists would require longer than and would really look great for those with thick hair, don’t be frustrated if your kid doesn’t have one because there are simple braids and crowns that are still doable. This book is a very handy quick guide for girls who want to spend their afternoon playtime trying out different hairstyles. Some styles can be complicated for an 8-year-old kid and may need an adult to get it done.  This is useful for girls’ special family or school occasions, when dressing up for church and for moms who want to turn their kid’s ordinary day at school into a unique one by making them feel lovelier. Teens, young ladies and adult can appreciate this too. Surprisingly, the Snow Crown was the same one my hairstylist did to me way back when I had my prom.

Most birthday parties nowadays are using Frozen as their theme. I am considering it too for my little one’s upcoming birthday. This book would absolutely make it easy for me to make hers and my nieces’ hair so that we’ll have charming Snow Queens and Princesses at the party. Just don’t forget to buy some ribbons, bobbie pins, hair donut/bun maker and a little tiara to go along their desired look.

I’ve seen a lot of video tutorials and simple quick guide books on hairstyling because I like spending hours trying out different styles for my daughter, my niece and for myself on special occasions. This book exceeded my expectation. It made a difference from all other hairstyling books and tutorials I’ve seen because of the fact that it was made by Disney , which means it is a quality, trouble-free and fun book.

If your little girl has blonde, brown, red or black hair, you will find a match for her because of this wide variety of hair styles to choose from. They’re perfect for girls’ ballet or dance recital, graduation, or if they just want make cute and sweet hair styles with their friends.

There are hair styles which will take quite a bit of skills such as fishtails, but would definitely try some time if I want an elegant voguish look for my daughter or myself. For the simpler and easy ones that I got to experiment with my daughter and niece, we had so much fun that they can’t get enough of it wanting to put on several fantasy looks in a day. This can also be an interesting Christmas gift idea to any mother or daughter.
