We have been letting our four-year old son stir, pour, mix, and observe our cooking since he was two. We got him a play kitchen for Christmas, but he can't cook real food with it (although he still "cooks" with it every day). I love the idea of special smaller utensils for when children "help" in the kitchen. Also his play kitchen didn't come with a cute apron, oven mitts, and chefs hat like the Curious Chef Built Kitchen foundation set. I will have to look into this. How cool!
