Crazy Forts Review And Giveaway Ends 10/02(US/CAN)

When you were a kid, you probably built forts out of couch cushions and blankets or cardboard boxes. Today, though, it seems like all the forts for kids are pre-made. It’s hard to encourage your child to build their own little hideaway when the neighbors have one that pops up out of a box. With Crazy Forts, though, this isn’t the case. Crazy Forts are a fun way for your kids to build forts all by themselves.

CrazyForts walk the line between helping kids build their fort and encouraging creativity. The kit comes with everything you need to build a structure of a fort; just throw some bed sheets on top and you’re ready to go! Each Crazy Forts box comes with 25 balls and 44 sturdy sticks which, when put together, can make all kinds of creations: castles, caves, igloos and even rocket ships. Although there are some design ideas on the website, it’s totally up to your child what kind of fort they want to make.

This toy is perfect for encouraging fun and creativity. The sticks and balls give kids a jumping off point from which to create anything their heart desires. For even more options, purchase a few more kits, and the possibilities are endless. Plus, the kit makes forts easy to put up, take down and store.

When we got the Crazy Forts set, I was pretty excited for my daughter to check it out. She needed a little help physically putting the balls and sticks together, but she loved the idea of making whatever she wanted. She immediately constructed a “castle” and got her princess sheets out to complete the look. We tried a few other designs from the website, using colored sheets to complete the theme: dark blue for the rocket, white for the igloo, and pink for the tunnel (that one was her idea). I only took some pictures of her hanging out the clothes. The Crazy Forts provided hours of fun, both in making the forts and in playing with them.

Crazy Forts are also the perfect toy for groups. When we had play group at our house, all the kids were super excited to try it out. They worked together to build a house and they all had fun playing together, boys and girls. Even the older siblings jumped in. It’s rare that a toy unites toddlers, instead of making them bicker, but the Crazy Forts did.

I definitely plan on buying a few more Crazy Forts kits to expand our set, and I would recommend a kit to anyone with a toddler or school-age child. This toy spans age and gender gaps, and brings everyone together in the fun. Whether you have one child or five, the Crazy Forts are perfect for your household too.

  3. I would like to win because I know, as a child, I would have loved this! For one, I love that you can make several different designs with this kit. I also like that it’s much safer than using kitchen chairs and coffee tables to make forts. Also it looks easy to put together and store. My daughter and hubby (and I 🙂 ) would have a lot of fun with it!

  16. Just joined up via email. Just wondering why Google Friend connect isn’t enough. I prefer friend connect myself as it manages all of the things I follow.

Been on the Happy Fort site quite a bit and actually bought a set. The main problem I found was that there just isn’t enugh in one box. My oldest girl is getting pretty big and I want to be able to make something she can actuall stand in. So I found this link on Mapple Leaf Mommy (http://maple-leaf-mommy.blogspot.com/) and figured I would give your contest a shot hoping to improve the fun my girls have with this great toy.

  18. I love it because it’s something you can do together as a family and there are SO many different combinations – not just like a tent you buy and there’s only one way to set it up – too cute!!
