Candide Baby’s 3-in-1 Multi-Relax Now Available in Canada! {#Review}

Comfort and practicality – these are the two things I would always like to have together whether I’m terribly busy or not so busy, or even when I’m privileged to sleep. So when I got a hold of the Candide Baby 3-in-1 Multi-Relax which cleverly functions as a maternity pillow, nursing pillow, and baby nest, I badly wished I had them right from my first pregnancy 8 years ago! I know it’s already convincing to all of you moms out there that this is absolutely a mom-and-baby must-have, but let me assure you some more.

The Candide Baby 3-in-1 Multi-Relax claims to be the first convertible maternity & baby pillow. Now that’s probably the best thing I heard, next to a transitional maternity-to-nursing-and-beyond outfit! Here’s how the Muti-Relax works in 3 ways:

For MOM: As a maternity pillow, the Multi-Relax can be elongated for hugging, while mom is on a relaxing side-lying position, to support the growing belly. Even if I’m no longer pregnant, I enjoy cuddling something soft but supportive in my arms and at the same time between the legs while lying on my side. It’s even of greater ergonomic comfort for pregnant women because it reduces hip pressure than when side-lying with just an ordinary pillow between the legs.

For MOM & BABY: As a nursing pillow, the Multi-Relax simply surrounds mom’s waist while comfortably seated in a steady surface, and baby comfortably lies on his side, facing the mom’s breast. If baby is bottle-fed, mom’s arm can lift and support baby’s head, while the Multi-Relax also supports mom’s elbow and arms. Unlike ordinary boppy pillows that easily lose shape and need interruptive workaround, the Multi-Relax provides the right height when nursing, and is firm enough for support but also soft enough for baby’s position. So mom no longer needs to lean forward or nurse in awkward positions and experience back pains.

For BABY: As a safe baby nest from 0 to 6 months (3-9 kg in weight), the Multi-Relax can be formed into a U-shape, slightly elevating baby’s head and supporting his body. Baby is safely secured with a safety cloth harness that has adjustable buckles. It’s great for baby at rest, or during playtime. Baby will enjoy lounging like a boss! The pillow also has a pocket where the safety harness can be conveniently stored when not used as a baby nest.

The 3-in-1 Multi-Relax feels like a bean bag, but more of a softer version and on the firmer but comfy side. The filling is made of tiny, ultra-light polystyrine microballs that are non-toxic and free from phthalates. The removable pillow cover, which is available in different types of fabrics and designs, is machine washable. And because it’s incredibly multifunctional, it doesn’t take up too much space.

I’m no longer pregnant, and my youngest is no longer a little baby. So if I may just add, the Multi-Relax is more than just 3-in-1, really. My family found a lot more great uses in it. We take turns in using it as a total body pillow, for cuddling in the couch, and a lot more possibilities for playtime with the kids. This extraordinary pillow took part in our comfy quality time!
