You’ve probably heard about Boon and their line of creative children’s products. They’ve been in all kinds of magazines lately, from Southern Living and Ladies Home Journal to American Baby. They’ve also been featured on a range of TV shows, including The Early Show, Ellen and the Today Show. If you haven’t heard the buzz, here’s a primer: Boon was born out of a designer’s frustration with a messy bathtub. Rebecca Finell was sick of bath toys all over her bathroom, and created the Frog Pod, a handy bath toy holder. Since then she has founded a business on innovative products that address common parenting challenges, which are both high-quality and safe.

bugPod

One of these amazing products is the Bug Pod, a variant of the original Frog Pod. The Bug Pod is the ultimate, all in one bath toy holder. The Bug Pod does many things at once. Most importantly, it holds bath toys and keeps them out of the way when it’s not bath time. The holder also has drains, so that the toys can dry out and stay that way. It comes with a wall-mounted base, instead of suction cups, so that the Bug Pod never falls off the walls.

One of the cool things about the Bug Pod is that it’s also a bath toy scoop. When bath time is over, it’s a snap to just scoop the toys up and store them in the Bug Pod. But that’s not all the Bug Pod can do. It also has space to store shampoo, conditioner or soap, keeping them out of slippery toddler hands. Finally, the bug’s cute antennas are the perfect shape and size for holding a little loofah.

I was really excited to try out this Bug Pod, because, like most moms of toddlers, my daughter’s bath toys were taking over our bathroom. I’ve tried mesh bags on suction cups, but they always fall off the wall, and I worry about them hitting my daughter’s head. Also, I’ve been looking for a way to limit my daughter’s growing bath toy collection, and this seemed like the perfect way. I told her that she could keep as many toys as would fit in the Bug Pod, and the rest we would donate to someone who needed them.

Although my daughter wasn’t super excited about giving away some of her rubber duckies, her excitement over the Bug Pod quickly overshadowed this minor pitfall. She loved how cute the ladybug looked on our bathtub wall, and she had a blast scooping up her toys with it after bath time. Also, with the Bug Pod, I didn’t have to worry about her getting hold of her baby soap and spilling it all over herself. The Bug Pod has truly made bath time an enjoyable activity for everyone in the family.

If you have a child who loves their bath toys, the Bug Pod will make a huge difference in your life. No more suction cups, no more bath toys taking over your bathroom, and no more spilled soap when you turn your back. The Bug Pod by Boon is the perfect addition to any family’s bath time, and it will make everyone in your family happy.

I like the water bugs-critters. My daughter has a set for bath and loves them. she is learning how to catch them in the net while they float in the water.
