My (and my husband’s) new year started really drastically well when we received the Best Electric Power Washer from Hammacher Schlemmer last Christmas. So drastic it was, because our house changed for the better, and even my way of seeing things changed. I never looked at the most hopeless, dirt-covered stuff the same way again.

Enough of the specs which my husband understood more than I did, let’s get down to my awesome experience. (By the way, my husband found it very easy to assemble.)
First, it exceeded my expectations, by unexpectedly cleaning everything I never thought would be cleanable. I’m still in shock to realize that we’ve finally said goodbye even to the slightest mildew and other clingy buildups of impurities that stayed on in our walls for years, and even the forgotten, dingy yet still visible corners. We first used it on our fence and the walls outside the house, and with so much amazement we couldn’t remember when we last saw our fence and walls that perfectly spotless, and looking like just freshly painted. Everything it pressure washed, was left glowing like brand new.
Second, it saves tons of time and energy. Instead of having to rinse first before hand cleaning the whole thing, the power washer just took care of everything. Before, my usual way of cleaning was to wipe or rinse away the excess dirt (the easy part), and then concentrate my energy in scrubbing away the hard spots (the time-consuming part) with strong soap, or special cleaning solutions. But with just this pressure washer, there was no longer any hard nasty dirt left to focus on. It literally kept my hands from getting dirty because the washer alone did all the job for me.
Third, it made me enjoy cleaning, and look forward to it! My kids saw my husband blasting away with the power washer on the whole car (including the tires!), and they watched in awe as all the hardened mud, grease and dust slide away completely. It motivated us to embark on a major cleaning project, where our vision for a totally immaculate garden and garage seemed really feasible and quick to achieve. It’s so easy to use that even I want to try it on our smaller dust-collecting stuff, especially my kids’ old toys which have corners that are hard to wipe, so that we can make use of all the power washer’s nozzles. I’m still obsessing about cleaning everything we could with our power washer!
