When I had the opportunity to try out their Spring/Summer 2012 Collection, I was super excited because I love wearing comfortable clothing but do not want to sacrifice the style and the MPG 2012 collection that I received was just perfect in each and every ways. When I browse through their site I found that all the clothing they shown is just beautiful. I seriously want everything they have on their site and finally I made my decision on one Serena Performance Jacket and one pair of Nova pants for review. I also used their fit guide to find out what size fits me best and it was approved that you can totally trust the guide to decide your size. Because the first thing I did is to check the size I ordered when I received the package, it is perfect for me and the set is amazingly comfortable.
Let me share some of the appealing features of the jacket and the pants. Serena performance jacket has unique and attractive color combination. You can buy this jacket in two different color combinations. And I really like the black/Pink one. It has a pink colored zipper which makes a great color contrast and makes the jacket uniquely recognizable. There are front and back pockets with zippers also. These allow you more household use of the jacket. The jacket also comes with a hood which has a cute pony tail slot. This is perfect for us ladies with longer hair. The Multi-stitch design detail on lower sleeve and back highlights the uniqueness of the jacket. The back storage pocket also comes with a reverse tape zipper. The one design I love the most and my husband also said was very cute is the sleeve cuff of the jacket actually comes with a thumb hole. I have not seen any other fitness wear that comes with this feature.
I also tried the Nova pants. They are the perfect fitness pants designed for comfort and style and will meet the expectations of even the most picky athletes you can find. They feel unbelievably comfortable and also look great. The Nova pants are made of high quality materials and make you look like an elegant celebrity. The pants have a unique ergonomically contoured tummy tuck waistband that will give a slenderizing effect, which is good for anyone who does not have a perfectly flat tummy. The pants also have semi-low rise, semi fitted inseam design which will make you look fabulous on the dance floor, yoga class, gym, fitness club or even in a boxing workout. Last but not least these pants also have a high visibility reflective logo so other people can see the quality and fashion you are wearing.

Letter Construction Activity Set from Learning Resources Review And Giveaway
As a mother of a 3.5 years old daughter, I became so much concerned about the perfect way of alphabet learning for her. Thinking about a process through which she would not have to be forced to learn. Is there a way to teach her with a familiar form of a game which would attract her and keep her doing it again and again? There were many questions like these circling around my head a while ago. In searching for answers, I have searched in lots of websites and finally found the Letter Construction Activity Set from Learning Resources.
This activity set allows the children to build a letter in many ways with colorful parts. It also helps them to practice letter recognition and pre-handwriting. When I received this activity set it caught my attention right away because like most children my daughter loves build-break-build games. I had a feeling that this activity could become her favorite toy set. Telling the truth that, I am really surprised to see the results.
Now most of time she spent is with her Letter Construction Activity Set. Now she can build almost every letter in different ways. Her response to the letters is also good. Sometimes I include myself with her to see her progress. And every time I do that I eventually get surprised. Now she can write more than 12 letters. Her sense of color combination and use of figures are impressive. My daughter has already started pre-school. The Letter Construction Activity Set is making her one step ahead from the other girls in school already.
Some of the important features I think I should include.
i) There are enough pieces for 4 students to simultaneously build the same letter
ii) Includes Activity Cards with step-by-step directions
These features allow me to invite some of my daughter’s friends to home and give them a chance to build the alphabets together. I should say this works better than building all-alone by herself. They build and ask each other about the alphabet and sometimes they start practicing to write by themselves. The activity cards are being helpful for giving a very clear direction for a proper and effective learning process.
So, all I can say that Letter Construction Activity Set is great alphabet teacher for my daughter. And I am pretty sure that it is the most effective alphabet learning tools for children.

Weekends are great times that the whole family can bond and have fun together. Aside from watching movies, doing each other’s hair, painting nails, or cooking different edibles, the whole family can play CRANIUM BRAIN BREAKS.
This game is suggested for ages 8 and up and ideally for 2 players or more.
You know what they say “the more, the merrier” 
This is an ideal game for the whole family on weeknights, or for a big group. In such a case, my daughter hasn’t had the chance to play this game as required. Though kids her age, four (4) can be supervised or coached by older players to guide them through out the game and still have fun at the same time. I am not surprised how my kiddo was able to somehow be an active participant, by just helping out and do her own thinking and advising. She especially loves to guess what the elders are acting out, molding/skulpting, sketching, and even the jumbling of letters though she blurts out just anything at times. Playing under time pressure puts the fun in it. This game has benefits too. This enhances the listening and the communication skills of the players, especially for kids. In addition to that, reading and writing skills are also made better. The visuospatial skills and being a cooperative team player is being practiced in this game. For kids, the imagination plays a big part in this game. It releases their creative ideas on how are they understanding what is on each activity cards.
The Cranium Brain Breaks game ticks both side of the brain. In the brain shaped container, 100 1-minute double-sided activity cards can be played. There are six multi-colored six-sided letter dice, one six-sided die, a small canister of clay, a small pad of paper, and a one minute sand timer. All the favorite Cranium characters are present like the Creative Cat, Word Worm, Star Performer, and Data Head. Each activity is given 1-minute to complete and then you can proceed to the next one. This is a great challenging game for parties and family nights.
This is a recreational activity that will have your group of friend, or family acting, sketching on paper, sculpting with the clay, and word puzzling as you compete to beat the timer. At times, my little princess and her cousins want me to play this game with them. These little Einsteins are very energetic and challenged in playing this game. Unfortunately, most of the adults rarely find the luxury to enjoy such game. To be honest, my daughter enjoys Brain Breaks despite the small components and the game itself is amusing to her. Kids really enjoy the interaction involved and the fun moments they get out of playing the game. Mothers like me, who are tired from work, we find time to grant their sweet demands to play with them. And you must admit, (whisper) it’s really fun.
I remember when my grandparents told me “a child’s favorite toy is their parent”. I believe that we have a responsibility as parents to give in to our children’s quirks.

And it’s not always just you, but your training to your kids which may start here and now…through Monopoly. This game is most applicable to children age 8 years old and up. Their ability to handle money have to be instilled early. Awareness to the value of money is important as this will help them in recognizing when one could buy and when one should let pass the chance. My Lil one though still younger, now can understand that in every move we make in life, we need money. That money cannot just be wasted. She enjoys the swiping of the card in the electronic reader that looks like a calculator. Even the little houses and hotels that she’d love to purchase for me haha. Important thing is, she now recognize that money has value, and that mom has to work to have them.
Hasbro has always been the most trusted toy provider that I have ever known. It’s not just any toy from them but something that is always geared to continuous learning and development, not just for kids but for adults too. Just like the monopoly ,which yet again became the favorite game to play, is what my group of friends love playing this days as well. With just some AA batteries, the game is on the roll!, and with just a few more tries, bankruptcy will never be a problem.

I place my own Smart Step mat right before our sink to prevent watermarks on the floor. If possible, I would like to have it everywhere else because I know it adds comfort and beauty to my home with no worry that it will put my family at risk to trips or falls.

Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel Game from Educational Insights is a must have for families with children’s age from 3 to 5. I would greatly recommend this game as we have a good time playing with my daughter.
The entire package comes with a sturdy box. My daughter likes to shake it before the game starts. She thinks this is a part of the game to start with. This game is perfect for pre-schoolers because it does not contain or make use of money or cards to be read out, which makes it suitable for young kids to play with. It is also engaging and can help to make kids start their critical thinking skills. The objective of the game is easy as you will need to race and be the first one to fill the log with five different color acorns.
The game can be played by up to 4 players. My family usually plays this game after our evening meal while we are comfortably seated in our living room. First, I would take out the pieces of the Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel Game and give my daughter a piece of log where she will place the colored acorns later. Then, we take turns and see who can be the first to fill the logs with all colors.
The game provides a plastic squirrel tweezers that is perfect for little hands. My daughter can conveniently pick an acorn and place it on her log. I am glad because she exercise a lot with her fine motor skills by spinning the spinner and is able to have firm grip on the squirrel tweezer to pick up the small acorns. It also engages the kiddo to think properly what move to take. Before her spin, my daughter always calls out what color she wants next and how many acorns she needs to win. It also develops her sportsmanship whenever she loses a turn. It is also educational and interactive making it suitable for both boys and girls.
The Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel Game is just among the numerous excellent games that Educational Insights has. The objective is simply to get all five colored acorns that allow our children to think and make a good move. Therefore, I would highly recommend this to parents with small kids as a great past time.

I enjoy watching my daughter eagerly look for the right colored bunny and gets enticed for it to hop. This boosts her color recognition skills and memory to remember the next target.

Just in time for the long family weekend is this new surprise from my ever favorite HASBRO toy.
Each bonding time with my family is more precious than the previous one. And so I make it a point that the whole family will enjoy the day. I think of activities and all other ways that will make the memory last more than a day. Isn’t it so nice to reminisce those times and top one over the others with all the fun and laughter, the mouth watering meal, the love felt by everyone.
Through the years, it’s always been with Hasbro. Monopoly, Scrabble, Bop It, Candy Land and the list goes on. So it’s not surprising to say that just recently, it’s still Hasbro with the all new Operation.
Operation Silly is a skill game that helps develop recognition for kids. It also assists in enhancing and retaining memory both for the young and the old. This toy gives you funny sounds that even small kids are interested to join the game. With Silly Billy, you get to guess what the patient’s illness is. Based from the sound produced, you will have to diagnose where that sound is coming from, which will be the ailment Billy needs healed. Thirteen varying sounds can be heard, such as croaking frog, buzzer, flushing toilet, burp, laughter, bell, stretching rubber etc.
With the provided tweezer, player will have to guess what that sound is for and where in all 24 parts of the body of Bill is it locate for the player to pull and let heal. When you did it right and pressed bills nose, a TA-DA sound for success will be heard. But if it’s wrong, a warning bell will sound. It is a dream coming true for my daughter, the pretty little doctor of the house.
Silly Billy is operated with four (4) AAA batteries (not included). The tiny fun-atomies are provided with and may be kept at the pull-out storage. Game-board is such a nice toy to keep. It is played by my daughter when she’s alone, and it is played also by a group of friends. Children from 5 year olds and onwards go gaga over this Operation Billy that Hasbro produced. It actually may be given to younger ones if in constant supervision due to small parts. But if they do, them hearing the sounds and playing with it is another blatant success for Hasbro’s obvious goal: to give the best toys to the children.
Let your kid have one and agree that this is yet another great idea of a fun toy that can give a good head start to a nice bonding times.
