I Believe In You

Having a child is the most wonderful thing in the world and being a mother is the most rewarding job. It is given that taking care of a child entails a lot of responsibilities and sacrifices. As a parent we would sacrifice anything for our children and give them everything they want just to make them happy and the most rewarding thing is to simply see your children smiling and in great joy.

The child at a very young age, is carefree and very dependent to their parents. But though they seem like they care less about the world around them, they understand and they feel us, our emotions. They say there is that special connection between a parent and a child and I as a parent can attest to that.

My daughter loves to read the book and I as a mother make sure that I spend quality time with her. I always find some time to read the book to her as well. I am so glad that I have this opportunity to review this book “I Believe In You”. This book encourages kids to look within to find they have all they need to succeed-and to know they always have someone cheering them on. I was struck because when I read on the first page it shows an image of a baby and on the second page, an image of a little girl. It then sink in to me that, yes children do grow up. As I went on reading the book, I was amazed to see different issues told in the book about children, them growing up and the different good and bad days, making mistakes , happy and sad days that we all encounter as a parent with our children. One thing I learned about the book is that no matter what circumstances happen, make sure to always make your children they are loved and encourage them.

We are our children’s inspiration. In the book of the very well known and award winning author, Marianne Richmond I Believe in You, it shows the importance of letting your children know how much you believe in them because it plays a big part in who they are and who they will become. Letting your child know that you support them and you strongly believe in them gives them the sense of comfort and security knowing that in everything they do they always have someone who has a strong faith in them.

Every child commits mistakes, honest mistakes that they did not intend to do in their very young minds. These mistakes sometimes are taken to personal by other parents that they tend to punish their child for the wrong that they did. Most parents would think that even if they scold their children, they may cry and then behave after being scolded. But this is very wrong. As a parent you will be imposing fear to your child. Tendency is that the child would grow up with fear and will have low self confidence. In Marianne Richmond’s book, she emphasizes the importance of building a personal relationship with your child and making them feel that they are great and that you strongly believe in them. As early as now, spend quality time for your children, encourage them, make them feel they are important and never forget to tell them, “ I Believe in You”. It’s every child’s desire to know they are doing great, they are appreciated and they are loved. I highly recommend this book to all the parents!

Merino Kids Sleeping Bag

Do you have a fidgety sleeper between the ages of 0-4? Do you follow eco-conscious habits and keep your house at a cool 65-68℉? Or do you simply love top-quality, well-designed, natural baby products?

I have to admit, when Merino Kids asked me to review their product, I was a little incredulous that their baby sleep sack would be able to fit my 20-month old while still keep my third daughter (due in a few weeks) safe and snug. I was also concerned that something made of 100% natural merino wool would not be washable–something all of us moms know is important when dealing with acid-reflux of infants or messes of toddlers.

Both of my fears were set aside when we received the cornflower colored baby sleep sack. I was immediately impressed by its undeniable softness and the workmanship behind it. I even took a picture of the zipper and am including another of their snaps–Merino Kids might place their emphasis on keeping baby warm and happy but they definitely make their products look and function in superior fashion!

As for the washing part, as long as you use a wool detergent and a wool cycle (or delicate as I needed to), you can rest assured that the baby sleep sack will keep its shape, color, and feel. The great thing, though, is that the 100% natural merino wool used in their sleep sacks is naturally resistant to stains and odors so it does not require frequent washes.

While I knew from first touch that this was a great product, I was blown away by how much my finicky toddler loved her merino wool sleep sack. She didn’t resist being zipped into her sack and slept snugly and soundly for more than 12-hours the first time she wore it!

While my 20-month old is enjoying her stint wearing the Merino Kids sleep sack, I am very eager to begin using this same sleep sack with our newest daughter. She is due to arrive next month just when it starts to get cold. I love that I’ll be able to place her directly in her stroller or car seat while wearing a sleep sack–I already know the safety belt aperture will truly be a lifesaver!

 

I can see a lot of perks to using this sleep sack regularly: the merino wool component will help regulate your child’s temperature, ensuring he or she is not too hot or too cold while wearing it; your baby, toddler, or preschooler won’t need a blanket for warmth (though mine cannot sleep without their security blankets knitted by great-grandma!) and they won’t be able to kick their blanket off while tossing and turning throughout slumber; and, finally, these sleep sacks can function as a “home away from home” when you’re traveling–maybe if we’d started using them earlier with our girls, they wouldn’t need their security blankets!

I really cannot talk enough about the great aspects of Merino Kids’ baby sleep sacks. It seems that everyone else who purchases a sleep sack from Merino Kids feels the same way I do, too, though–the reviews average 5 stars! And so I just bought them separately a day after because she won’t stop asking to borrow the real ones in my kitchen so she can start with her own pretend baking. I still wish they were included as everything is Made in USA of US and imported parts compared to the ones I was able to find in the market.

New Squinkies Toys for Boys Review

When we say toys and games for our small boys and girls, we always think of those robots, barbies, toy cars and doll houses. Even before in the old times, this had been the games and toys children wanted to play, only that they used woods or cans from empty soda. We cannot deny today that there have been a lot of development and innovation from clothes, transportation and even the toys our children play.
