My daughter received her first Babalu toys, Monster Puzzle Blocks and Furry Friends Dominoes for review last week. Monster Puzzle Blocks is like any other block game but with an interesting difference where the kid has to complete a puzzle.It consists of nine 1 ½” cubes kept in a box these cubes are to be arranged to solve the puzzle using a colorful answer booklet to all six puzzles.
Furry Friends Dominoes consists of twenty-eight 2” X 4” tiles. They have cats and dogs pictures on them and help teaching matching and number fun to kids. It comes with an instruction sheet also.
These toys are so colorful and attractive that my daughter was on cloud nine on receiving them. I was thinking she won’t understand Monster Puzzle Blocks as she is not yet three years old. However, I was partially mistaken in thinking so. After I showed her, how it was to be done she followed it, although slowly and with my help, but it was nice to know that she really made an effort every time she was solving the puzzle. Now she plays with her blocks little independently but I still love to solve them with her. By now, she has also learned to match the Furry tiles and numbers. It is indeed a very effective way to learn numbers easily.
What could be better than learning with fun and in play way method? My daughter has already started her education and she loves it. My two and half-year old toddler, very easily gets bored with her toys. I brought so many different types of toys for her, but after playing with them for initial few days she would just leave them. When my daughter first saw her Magic Zoo mold, she wasn’t much excited as she had never played with anything like that.
