KidKraft Book Shelf From CSN Stores – The Natural Place To Find Quality Products

Last month we mentioned that CSN stores were letting us review a great product in one of their more than 200 stores. They sell everything from coffee tables to natural baby products, making CSN Stores one of the most convenient webstores for moms–practically any gift or product you need or want is at your fingertips!

We ordered the product from CSN Stores and immediately received a confirmation email from their customer service representatives. When our bookshelf’s shipment was delayed, CSN Stores kept me updated with weekly emails on its status. When the bookshelf did ship, they were quick to alert me that it was on its way and I received it quickly thereafter. I cannot say enough about CSN Stores excellent customer service and communication.

I was thrilled to see that CSN Stores‘ reputation for carrying quality, long-lasting products held true. The natural bookshelf  was a breeze to put together (no more than 20 minutes for this mom!) and blended in perfectly with our daughters’ room. Unlike our previous bookshelf, this sling book shelf holds books facing toward the reader. This ingenious display allows your child to easily see the front or back covers of the books instead of the spine. My older daughter, especially, loved being able to pick out her favorite books by sight instead of slowly rifling through them one by one.

The bookshelf has four pouches made of soft canvas–meaning I no longer need to worry about my daughters damaging the edges of their board books. The slightly stretchy canvas pouches also allow more flexibility with the amount of books that can be held inside. Of course, some of our books (especially those for our younger daughter) are slightly shorter than others so they may fall below the canvas pouch line. Not to worry, though–our daughters now go on treasure hunt digs through the lower bookshelf pouches to find just the right one they were looking for.

I cannot tell you how much my girls love playing and reading their books now that the books are at eye-level and facing out! It is just the right height and size for my two-year old to reach all of her books and for my crawler to reach up to the books on her lower two shelves.

This great bookshelf can also be found in primary and pastel colors and all three color options can be personalized!

The natural sling bookshelf  is the perfect size for our house and holds many more books than I expected it would. It consistently receives 4.5 stars out of 5 on the CSN Stores website and now I know why–with it’s great quality and exceptional price, I know it will last for years to come and be a favorite of our daughters for just as long. Who knows? When they outgrow it, I may even use it to store my magazines and books!

Zio Sport – Active Wear For Kids Review And Giveaway Ends 10/31 (US/CAN)

All kids are active, but if your child does sports, gymnastics or dancing, then you know the trouble of keeping kids happy and dry in regular children’s clothes. I’ve always wondered why they don’t make active wear for children, because children are always on the go. So when I found Zio Sport, an active wear company just for children, I was pretty excited.

Based out of Austin, Zio Sport is a company that’s all about the kids. They consult with children about every part of the process: the colors they use, the fabric and the styles of their pieces. It’s also a family-owned company, so you know that they’re tuned into what kids really want and need.

One that I really liked was the Zio Sport Elite Zio Repeat Performance Tee. When doing sports, children get so sweaty on top, and this shirt is the perfect anecdote to that. This shirt is made is with moisture wicking fabric and has special mesh armpit panels to keep your daughter dry and happy. The little details really add to the quality of the shirt. There’s a small pocket on the side of the tee, perfect for keeping a little money or a small music player. It also has a tagless label, to prevent irritation on the neckline. Lastly, there’s a stylish “Zio” design in silver across the front. This shirt is fashionable and functional.

Another great product of theirs is their Zio Girls’ All Purpose Athletic Short. These shorts are really all-purpose; their perfect for running, jumping, gymnastics or even just playing around. These stretchy shorts have plenty of elastic so they can move with your child. Like the t-shirt, it has a little pocket on the side, to keep whatever little things your daughter needs to keep handy. The contrasting side stripes are trendy and stylish. Like the tee, these shorts are cute on the go.

My daughter is very active and always very sweaty after her tumbling class, so I was excited to try the Zio active wear. I outfitted her in the Repeat Performance Tee and the All Purpose Athletic Short before her weekly toddler gym class to give it a go. She thought the matching pink outfit was cute, but it was me who really noticed the difference. Throughout the class, she was less pink in the face and overheated. Also, once she was done, her clothes were still dry, as opposed to damp like regular cotton shirts are.

Like most rambunctious toddlers, my daughter is always on the go. That’s why I loved the Zio active clothes. They were made of stretchy, breathable fabric that was perfect for moving around in. But this functionality didn’t sacrifice fashion: the clothes looked like regular, cute kids clothes. I’ll definitely be buying more clothes from Zio Sport, and you should give them a try too.
