Monster Factory Review

There is something about the monsters and the kids. My daughter is almost 2 years old now, one of her favorites is Disney’s Happy Monster Band, and that’s why she won‘t bite with my ‘scary tactics’. A few weeks ago, I receive a set of monsters from Monster Factory for product review.

Monster Factory is an innovative toy brand who offers stuffed toys with ‘character’. Yes, you can access on their website whereas you can have a glimpse on what the toy is all about or you and your child can ‘follow and dig’ on what’s happening with the characters. Monster Factory has created a toy collection based on our world, where else. They capture day to day ironies in life, gigs and other up- to-date stuffs. Monster Factory has an impressively line of creators, backed-up with each of the owner’s expertise in art, film and fashion industry.

Here is the story of my daughter’s monsters.

Booh is Clementine’s younger brother. Booh gets nervous around breakable objects. He’s had some bad experiences.

Clementine is Booh’s older sister. She always has a card for every occasion: Happy Half Birthday! There you have it, one with a slant of paranoia and the other with anticipation-overdose. Booh’s color is red and Clementine is pink. Actually, I can relate to Clementine, when my husband and I were on the boyfriend-girlfriend stage we had a ‘monthsary’ a monthly celebration cause I’m quite skeptic, who knows we might not reach our actual anniversary. Luckily, we did and now married for 4 years. It was a silly-girly idea. I told you, Monster Factory knows the bitter funny-truth of our daily lives.

Monster Factory’s toys come in soft fabric with funny weird faces, simple clothing yet with a screaming personality, a total human decoy. My daughter adores her Monster Factory collections, as I make up quirky stories, I hold onto their personalities, no sweat at all. My child’s laughter is priceless, and anytime soon she’ll find out the questionable yet bearable facts of humanity.

I am planning to have a Monsters Factory collection based on our family overview; for starters I’m proud to be Clementine. Monster Factory’s plush toys are perfect gifts as well. My mother-in-law would surely got Monster Factory’s ‘Wilma’ who never fails to amuse everyone even though she always got lost with her own stories.

I felt fortunate to receive these Monster Factory’s products besides the fact that my daughter is having a great time with Booh and Clementine I came to realize that these toys can enhance my daughter’s creativity as she makes up her own stories. I am just curious, perhaps these Monster Factory’s character toys were based on the creator’s real life acquaintances. Yoga practices efficiently help me get back in shape. Post-natal exercise is a must to gain strength and confidence. Now that my child is growing it’s quite hard to find comfy-time to do some at-home ‘stretches’ and ‘breathing’.

What we got are the 100% certified organic cotton yoga set and t-shirt. The hoodies’ color is jet black it has a color-matching frontal-zip, light in weight with no irritating tag. Due to the definite softness of the fabric, the matte-tone perfectly exudes in the whole Tiny Ducky’s yoga outfit. The pant is in the same tone as well, with comfy-waist band, which makes it ideal for any activities. The t-shirt is in light blue, 100% organic with a spilt neck design and tag-less as well.

Since the Tiny Ducky‘s product arrived, my daughter has now her own ‘yoga costume’ which really made her a part of my yoga sessions. I only attend yoga classes once a week; on regular days I perform the practice at home. I prefer that my child is within my sight when I’m doing my yoga practices. My daughter has her own eco-friendly yoga mat, where she plays and sometimes takes a nap. My husband and I enjoy how the yoga set fits her body and most of all the Tiny Ducky’s clothes are ideal for our travels, trendy and comfortable.

I never knew that being a stay at home could be so uplifting. At first, I made some adjustments and then finally decided to be here for my daughter for the next 10 months or so. The decision was influenced by my conservative mother who opened my eyes to the soulful-fact that the child mostly needs their mother on their first three years on earth. The toy train set is composed of 11-piece starter set, 8 pieces of curved wooden parts for the circular track and one charcoal-black engine, one blue passenger car and a red caboose. Nubius Organics is an online supplier of healthy, green products for healthy living. All the products that they distribute are innovative and eco-friendly.

Wooden toys induce immense creativity in a child; they opt to rely on their imagination, whereas battery-dependent toys aren’t eco-friendly at all, and those flashy lights and loud sounds deplete their capacity to explore with their minds.

The fist time that I handed over this Maples Landmark’s wooden toy train set from Nubius Organics to my daughter said ecstatically, “Is that for me?” and I said, “it’s for us”. The 8-piece wooden track is easy to assemble, and it holds on together steadily. These three little ‘trains’ looks vibrant over the wooden track, the engine passenger car and the caboose as made of handcrafted wood as well.

Ideally, the wooden train set toy from Nubius Organics is suitable for kids three years and onwards, based on my product evaluation, toys such as this can be enjoyed by child less than three years of age with the parent’s participation not just plain supervision.

When I receive these Thermos’ products, I told myself, these are perfectly suited for this generation. I also suddenly felt that I’m about to introduce a tradition to my daughter. The Thermos Foogo Vacuum Insulated Leak-Proof Straw Bottle is BPA-free (Bisphenol A, a chemical building block that is used to make polycarbonate plastic). Thermos Foogo Vacuum Insulated Soft Spout Sippy Cup has a removable handle with a soft spout that’s gum-friendly on babies. The color tone of the Thermos’ Vacuum Insulated Soft Spout Sippy is meant to please every child. The leak-proof valve is so easy to clean and dishwasher safe too. It is quite small which compliments my daughter; with a capacity of 7oz this is ideally used by infants 6 moths and up. It’s made of unbreakable stainless steel inside and out.

The Thermos Foogo Vacuum Insulated Leak-Proof Straw Bottle is suitable for children 18 months onwards, with a slightly same feature as the Vacuum Insulated Soft Spout Sippy, (stainless steel inside and out). Differences starts with the capacity, this one holds up to 10 oz, and it has a hygienic push button lid with pop-up silicone straw is easy to open. These two products from Thermos are in their Foogo Phases series, these phases define the stages of our child’s needs. The impressive thing about the Thermos’ Foogo Phases is that you can inter-change the parts from all the Phases collection. Just like I did, I used the body of the Foogo Vacuum Insulated Leak-Proof Straw Bottle (10 oz) and I alter the cover with the use of Foogo Vacuum Insulated Soft Spout Sippy Cup because my daughter loves to use the Soft Spout Sippy.

In short as I decided to use the larger drink ware, my child was also able to choose her drinking preference.

KidCuteTure Review & Giveaway Ends 4/3

I couldn’t help but adore celebrity kids; they’re like precious innocent little stars. I’m very meticulous with my daughter’s clothes fabrics, and I am actually having a hard time convincing myself that I have to wait a little longer before I set a feminine style upon my daughter.

Two weeks ago I received a soft hat with self-fabric flower in raspberry color from KidCuteTure for product review. It actually looks like a vintage 1940’s women’s hat, in-line with the taste of Audrey Hepburn or Princess Diana. It’s a hat that you would wear slightly inclined on one side, for added drama and elegance. Althougn the KidCuteTure’s hat is a little bit big for my daughter, the design is stunning, and that hat is included in KidCuteTure’s Fall/Winter ‘10 collection.

KidCuteTure is a mother and daughter business, composed by Natasha and Olga Pantelyat. Their children’s clothing line has a haute couture feel. Never did I want to misuse the term haute couture whereas there are rules and complexity with the use of the term, so I’ll settle that the KidCuteTure clothing is on a high-end fashion trend.

Natasha has 25 years of experience in fashion and graphic design, while her daughter Olga came from the corporate world. The inspiration was drawn from Olivia, who was born in 2007. Olivia is Olga’s daughter. Natasha and Olga find difficulty in finding the right clothing line for their beloved new member of the family. The shops are either on safe side or on the weird track. From that disappointment, the desire to create a girl’s line with the it factor, blossomed.

 

All of the KidCuteTure‘s design has a modern Elizabethan theme; their collections are dazzled by finely sewn embellishments. The use of color and fabric were never before seen in any children’s clothing line. The feminine essence, comfort, freedom and elegant maturity were captured by KidCuteTure’s clothing line. There are wide range of choices of children‘s clothing, from Fall/Winter ’09, Spring/Summer ’10 to Fall/Winter ’10 and the good thing about their collection is that the motifs won’t be phased-out for the longest of time, simply because none of the children’s clothing line offers these.

We absolutely enjoy how the KidCuteTure’s soft hat nestled on my daughter’s head and compliments from relatives and neighbors were over-flowing.

The KidCuteTure Clothing Company understands that we do not need to wait. Once we had a baby girl, this is it, moms loves dressing up their little ones. The KidCuteTure offers something different for the younger generation. The fashion industry overlooked the kids, and to be able to dress impeccably, girls need practice, not with their mom’s wardrobe but with their own line. I was amazed that these types of trends are now available, and it was my pleasure to review one of Kid Cute Ture’s products.
